Exploring culture has gotten really corrupt nowadays. People will keep spots to themselves on Google docs no one can see. ForgottenApp provides the opportunity for an amazing centralized database that could be used by all explores. The guy who created ForgottenApp is also super nice and lovely to talk too. It took awhile to reach him via Instagram dms but this isn’t a surprise due to the small team size behind ForgottenApp . I’ve been using it for over a year now and I love it. ForgottenApp has allowed me to reclaim my summer.

So I hope my title gets their attention. Been trying to use email and Instagram to contact them since at least one entry shows several people broke into a military facility which is still active. And then they break into a structure on that facility. Have been trying to inform ForgottenApp owners to take this down and since I work at said facility can probably get some nice pics of the place they’ve got listed. No replies. Not only that there’s no way to add pics so I would recommend the other abandoned app on the store. At least you can update entries there and ForgottenApp owner gets back to you.
By yes its me dude

*First, a note to the developer(s): your latest update has created a bug that inserts a “%20” in between the coordinates used to pull up a location on Google maps when one pushes the “show in maps” button. This essentially breaks the feature because google can no longer find the addresses and gives an error message now. I memorized the address and/or cut and pasted the correctly written coordinates directly in my google maps app, but that’s kind of a pain. I’m assuming it’s an easy fix that though, so I thought I’d mention it.*
Anyways, the locations in ForgottenApp are definitely better curated than the other “abandoned” app, but it still needs updating. It’s too bad ForgottenApp doesn’t at least rely a little on some form of peer input, because I could easily find a dozen or more locations that are either defunct for the purpose of exploring, or need some other noteworthy edit. For example, I just saw one location on the map that changed owners recently, has installed security cameras (with facial recognition), and will now arrest on site. In the decades that place has been abandoned that has not been the case until now. It would be nice to be able to comment with those kinds of tips/warnings/etc., but I understand why that could be a huge headache due to the inevitable trolls and misinformed people. Too bad though...
Overall, ForgottenApp itself is worth a look if you’re new to this hobby, but if you’re more seasoned, you probably won’t be blown away by the map. I do, however, find ForgottenApp useful when I’m out of town and have some extra time. I can just open ForgottenApp and see if there anything worthy of a look-see nearby wherever I am. I’ve actually found a couple interesting places this way.
Keep updating ForgottenApp ! It’s a good start. :)

Slow and outdated quality and most of the addresses you have to pay for the two free ones I looked at gave me addresses to random homes

Alright so overall if you’re a person who loves to explore random places such as I, ForgottenApp is indeed for you. It has places all over the United States that you can adventure to! If you’re the risky type even places you could try to sneak in and check out. You can even add locations that you find yourself if you feel like! Then the locations you add-you can add a price to so people can pay for the location! Although I think that’s a bit greedy but if it took some effort to get there I can understand the want to price it.
The improvements:

Ok so all I can say for improvements is the ability to actually edit everything in your account and on the actual app side of it, i would prefer a more Instagram fluid type of deal as it’s kind of slow and buggy, same goes for the website.
Overall with some small improvements-and maybe some advertising- ForgottenApp could be really cool.

ForgottenApp is great itself but it needs some improvement. Like that there should be a location finder button so ForgottenApp can see where you are. You shouldn’t be able to tap twice to zoom in on the hole thing. Also make so the user has to say the exact location so it doesn’t say somewhere in California and stuff like that. Hopefully you can fix and update this devs love ForgottenApp btw and hopefully you will read this.

Looks like they fixed the pop up! This is my go to app when looking for abandoned places. Cool photos from all over the world. I can’t wait for more people add their bandos.

i literally cant get in past the loading screen, i've been waiting forever

ForgottenApp worked fine when I first got it, but now it won’t show anything on the map, I’ll like the idea y’all have, if y’all could fix that soon, that would be great

It's basically airbnb for abandoned places. It's pretty light on the number of bandos listed so far, but has a lot promise for discovering cool places when it has more listings.
