The function of DerDieDasDeutschLernen is to quickly identify articles within three or four seconds of seeing a noun pop up on the screen. But every three words, a pop up ad interrupts the process. This alone makes it garbage and useless.
Also: it would be helpful to chunk words w the same article and understand the rationale behind gender when there is a rationale. Mnemonic devices also would be helpful. Literally stringing thousands of nouns one after the other in a quiz format is not nearly efficient enough to warrant DerDieDasDeutschLernen.
Do not bother.

The ads pop up after everything. It's a little too aggressive. And the timer for the articles is way too fast. There should be a way to change that.

DerDieDasDeutschLernen is frustrating. Make one mistake and the game is over? How about letting us answer a whole batch (say, 20 or so?) and then giving us a score. DerDieDasDeutschLernen is a fun idea, but if you are a student you’ll be making mistakes and get pretty tired of having to start a new game. I can’t find any settings to change.

I fully under that free apps have ads but this game ends every time you get an answer wrong and then an ad pops up. It even happens when you get an answer right sometimes. A pop-up or ad every 3 seconds literally. Not helpful.

Every time you make a choice and click on it, DerDieDasDeutschLernen makes a nasty noise. I find no way to turn it off. Intolerable.

After opening DerDieDasDeutschLernen for all of one minute, I was asked three times to review DerDieDasDeutschLernen . DerDieDasDeutschLernen is good review for German words and has a simple design not meant to be overly appealing, but being asked to review every 15 seconds is ridiculous. Also, if you have any iPhone with a notch, the timer is barely visible.
