Have WiFi + Internet, App Won’t Connect

I have very good internet, always reliable. I have great Bluetooth and cell reception. My ITouch fitness tracker successfully connects to my phone, and says it’s connected this app - yet the app will not download any data from it, not let me edit profile settings within the app. It keeps saying “connection is broken” with a white square and “X” in the middle. How can the connection be broken when my phone is fully connected to both WiFi and internet? DEVs you need to fix this. I actually need this watch to connect to this app, I had to get it for serious health issues. Fix this glitch. And then I’ll edit my review with more stars.
itouch smartwatch app

I received an itouch smart watch for Christmas so of course I had to download this app to be able to use the watch. I noticed there have been no updates to this app for 11 months and before that a year and then 2 years ago. This app isn’t working correctly. It will not stay connected to the itouch watch(I have an iPhone XR)
I can’t even use this watch because the app doesn’t seem to be updated to the proper support for this particular smart watch capability.
If someone who can do something about this issue is reading, please help. I want to use this. The app’s Bluetooth connection keeps breaking therefore it cannot be used.

Doesn’t work

Downloaded the new app. The watch works fine on its own but the app never connects. It says Bluetooth is connected but I can’t change my profile info, get my daily stats or customize anything. I’m frustrated because I’ve restarted the app, reconnected to Bluetooth (several times), deleted the app and downloaded the app again but no change. It won’t track any of my stats so the watch is only good for viewing stats that day and since nothing connects, the stats are gone the next day. I was so excited to get this but I’m finding it may have been a waste of money 😥
