About GitDrive

If you want to access server by domain, but don't want to manually modify the hosts file each time, then GitDrive Finder can help! Finder will search the app in LAN and automatically add the IP address and domain mapping to the hosts file.

- Powerful Git Server supports Git Smart transfer protocol; supports access by 5-10 users concurrently (using iPad will increase concurrent user accessibility).

Anytime you switch between LAN connections and run the Finder, the IP address and domain mapping will be updated.

- High-speed syntax coloring engine; supports syntax coloring for over 100 programming languages; will be updated periodically.

Finder is located in the ‘finder’ directory, part of the Tutorial that is included with the App.

- GitHub integration; simple to search and clone GitHub repositories.

Cloud storage

GitDrive is good. But I think if we could change the storage to our google drive or something like that would be great!

No “share” option

No “share” option so you can’t transfer files to other apps so you’re stuck exclusively with text format or image format files and only with GitDrive’s UI.

App is unusable on iPhones with a notch

The UI is horribly unoptimized making GitDrive unusable on iPhones that have a notch (iPhone X and up).

Great git client and server

I needed a way to access my git repository on my phone to review my team’s changes and quickly bring up my code while out and about. GitDrive served my needs perfectly. It displays code beautifully, gives me full access to commit history and change notes, and lets me easily review popular repositories on GitHub. I understand it can also act as a full Git server, which is just icing on the cake. Great app!
