Ok so, I first downloaded DailySnap in 2017, it was free back then and I loved using it until I started encountering some issues. DailySnap would freeze, I had to leave it and reopen it for it to work again but then 2 minutes later, the same issue would happen again and so on. I stopped using it for a while but then took it back again in 2018 and it worked a bit better, not freezing anymore, but then a new issue appear, the video and sound would not match, which is pretty annoying when you’ve got a full month of recording your memories and now the final video product isn’t perfect as one can expect. Now, in 2020, I’ve decided to give DailySnap a go again but found out it was now not free anymore, and I had no access to my old videos. I’ve decided to pay to access my old data and to overall give yet another chance to DailySnap, only to find out, after paying only that DailySnap is still full of glitches; it freezes, the sound still doesn’t match videos (that I’ve just “generated”) and to top it all, when I tried to tap the feedback button, I was met with an error message in Russian. I’m sorry to leave such a negative review but one would think that after 3 years, DailySnap developers would have fixed all the issues but I see it’s not the case. I’ve immediately cancelled my subscription, just 5 minutes after buying it, but I would like to get a refund at this point.

If you decide not to use it and cancel your subscription they don’t make it very easy to find it in the settings as it says before you buy DailySnap . Another sneaky app trying to take your money so it seems. They also make it extremely difficult to basically log in. I logged out of my account thinking i could just log back in and there’s no log in button. It’s just a button to start ANOTHER account. Very flawed app. How hard can it be?

It’s a shame that now you have to pay just to see DailySnap working, what if I don’t like it? Most people will delete it after installing it, like I just did. And this trend of overpriced apps, remember when you only had to pay (one payment only) from $4.99 to $9.99 for the most expensive apps? Now they charge you much more than that. I know, you get a free 3 days trial with some apps, but still have to charge your card to see it working, and if you forget the trial period you will be automatically charged. With that money I can buy a professional tool for my laptop. I know you are an indie developer, but you should consider what you charge for it. I have bought a lot of apps and are still working great, and whenever they add a pack or something you buy it gladly, but you don’t feel obligated to do it, which is a better approach.

DailySnap was good but there seems to be issues with the functionality lately. Anytime I try to take a video it prompts me to pay renew my subscription. It’s on auto renew and renews automatically. I’m stuck in this vortex of trying to take a video and DailySnap prompting me to renew when I already did. Even when I do hit renew it says I’ve already renewed. And there is no customer support that will actually respond. Good app if doesn’t get too stuck in the vortex. Otherwise you are paying for something that doesn’t work and no help to figure it out.

DailySnap was awesome for the first couple months. I used the free version. At some point, opening DailySnap forced me to a subscription screen. I was unable to make content, view my content, or download my videos without paying a subscription fee. There was no warning that this would happen. After a few months do this, they offered a 3 day free trial (which is ridiculous bc id signed up for the free version of DailySnap ..) and was able to get my content. If I’m going to have to pay for a service, I’d rather use one that charges up front rather than holds my content hostage.

You download DailySnap for free and it immediately asks you to subscribe. 60! It’s not hard to accidentally click on that option either. How convenient. Then I tried to exit out in a panic and I forgot it would read my thumbprint. Luckily my account needed my card number to be updated but now I’m unable to use this account to download apps because as soon as I put my card number in I’ll be charged 60$. Also Apple has not responded to my refund request or help on how to resolve this. I’m sure using memories on Snapchat would be just as effective and FREE!

I downloaded DailySnap cause a coworker recommended it to me- they use the pro version. It looked like fun so I downloaded it, however as soon as I opened DailySnap - even before making an account- I was asked if I wanted to purchase the annual pro. Being an amateur I clicked the home button and touch ID confirmed my purchase. I canceled my subscription in DailySnap store but I was billed anyways. I was considering the pro, but I’d rather at least get a chance to test the demo first. Also DailySnap has crashed multiple times when I’ve tried to open it so at this point I’m very frustrated :/

Just got DailySnap to track my fitness goals, and I can't even get inside because it wants me to try either the $5/month basic, $30/year ultimate, or $60 forever purchases. In the top left I see a translucent almost invisible X so I click it then it brings me to a page saying, get this, I can try it for FREE for 3 days and then pay $30/year. I don't have money. So again in the top left there's a little back arrow and it just takes me back to the paid options. It's a never ending loop that takes me back and forth between the pages so I can't even use DailySnap at all. Hope this is just a bug that gets fixed so I can use the actual app at some point.

I like DailySnap and I’ve used it for years but every time it renews, after I’ve paid the $30 it tells me that I need to renew. (Even though i just did) And won’t let me record or do anything. When I try to contact them via email or social media to get some help, I receive no word back.
I love to use DailySnap to document little moments of every day with my kids but it is very frustrating when I can’t do that because it will not work and no one is available to help. Especially after forking over $30.

It used to work well. Now, when I try to generate a video, it takes me to a screen asking for me to subscribe with a “no thanks” button at the bottom. I press no thanks. An ad plays. I close the ad and I’m stuck at the screen asking me to pay for subscription. So is this a paid-only app now? If so, I just lost a month of clips

Hey I’m excited to use DailySnap and I paid for it. If I want to add photos from my camera roll, it only gives me some of my photos to choose from, and not even recent ones. I’ve tried looking for answers, I clicked on app support and there’s no way to contact you. Please advise how to get access to ALL my photos in my camera roll. Thanks!

I used to used DailySnap in 2017 when it was free, and redownloaded DailySnap recently to discover it was no longer free. However I still had content in DailySnap and the support team was so helpful in letting me access my previous content. DailySnap makes it very easy to compile quick snippets of your daily life which makes for a great video journal t look back at memories! For those who are unsure about the price you can try it out as a free trial if you’re interested, email the support team so they can help you out!

I downloaded this at the beginning of 2018 to record a second of my day for the whole year. It was a great challenge and brought me so much joy watching it at the end of the year. That being said, I was shocked when I had to start paying when I was about 10 months in. I realized that $5/month was worth the end result. At the end, I was expecting to have a 4 minute 5 second video, but it was 13 minutes! Overall, the end result was worth it, I was just shocked that the snaps weren’t just one second.

I’m really enjoying DailySnap. I downloaded it yesterday to start off 2018 and challenge myself. However, I didn’t know you had to create a story before uploading snaps and I lost my Day 1 snap :( I was trying to go for 365 days straight.... is there any way to upload a video to my story? DailySnap interface is a tad confusing to navigate.

I really like DailySnap and sound plays in DailySnap for the videos. However, when I export a single video to a single text message or camera roll, the sound doesn’t play in the clip. It just acts like a boomerang. How do you fix this?

I looooove DailySnap. It’s has a cute aesthetic, it’s a different way to journal, and it can actually enhance your journaling experience as well! It keeps you accountable of things so you don’t have any missing days or awkward gaps in between days. GET IT.

I was thinking about something like DailySnap fore some years, so I bought it with no doubt and never regreted when found this in AppStore, if you want to save money, go and make videos by yourself! I give Daily Snap FIVE STARTS!!!

wonderful~ simple way doc your everyday life & hold yourself accountable
I LOVE DailySnap! I desperately needed a fresh approach to journaling, and yes I know it might be a bit of a stretch... BUT a tiny video a day is way more of a “me” thing. PLUS it’s an amazing first step to not only journaling, but it a fantastic way to start holding yourself accountable, which is something I have very much needed to improve at the moment.
Oh, best thing is, you are able to take AS MANY videos a day (okay, wait- I haven’t totally tested this yet...you can take MANY haha) and there are multiple saving options which is great if you are using multiple apps or if you have personal clips mixed in as well.
Also, PRO is really just worth it in my opinion, and if you have any issues the customer service team is efficient and very friendly :)

My husband somehow purchased a subscription and now we can’t cancel! Wanted to send a feedback but DailySnap crashes every time!! There is no way to contact developers in app

It's a great app, but I wish I could set up a time when I get reminded about the daily snap. Sometimes it happens late at night and that's too late for me. And it is not after 24 hours from last snap.
Also, it'd be great if one could upload a video that was recorded before on the phone and find the right second to have in the snap

I love DailySnap! I used it everyday this past year, it’s kept track of so many thing without taking up storage on my phone. I love looking back and watching these little clips of my hair growing or the fun things I’ve done over the year. All my friends have downloaded also and haven’t regretted it.
