Newchip - Invest in Startups Reviews

I’m a savvy investor that stays in tune with the market on a day to day, hour by hour awareness with my investments. I’ve started small & im slowly building my empire. this app is clearly in touch with what’s needed in 2018. I’m kept up to date on the new start ups & I chose which business I think is going to be successful in the future. Overall, I’m completely & 100% satisfied. Im very impressed by the skills that are being used by the creators of this business. Anyone that has or is using any other investment app than you will enjoy this app. I only speak from experience because Im using another which I love & Ive stopped using another. My suggestion is to give it a shot because life is to short. You have nothing to lose if you’re reading this & thinking of using a different investment platform.

By far Newchip is everything I was looking for. It simplified everything for finding startups to invest in and allowed me to see other platforms that I wasn’t aware of. The only thing I wish that could be implemented in Newchip. Is to be able to see the amount of the security before having to be redirected to the startups platform for funding. It’d make the process a lot quicker to find companies that fit the criteria I’m looking for.

I just downloaded Newchip and was super excited to try it - however, I got an error in the process of trying to create an account. It would not accept my phone number and got an “error sending SMS” message - even though I provided a cell phone # with a major carrier and have unlimited SMS ...

So I decided to contact support - but their support link just takes you to their generic website...where there is no support link, contact form or contact information. They have a chatbot on the site - which only allows you to select from three options, all of which leads to a automatic message that with info and lets you know they do not monitor the chat.

While the concept looks great, if I can’t set up an account or get support, there isn’t any way I can try it, let alone invest with it. Please contact me to resolve my error - otherwise I will just delete. Thanks.

Although I want to invest in companies, they make it so you have to read pages and pages of info to understand how to use the site. And when I finally did decide to invest I didn’t know where to find an INVEST button. Out of everything I read, they didn’t explain whatsoever how I can get a return on my profit (which should be most important information so people are more inclined to use their services). Compare yourself to other investment apps, theirs are simple, easy to understand without having to read sooo much irrelevant information. Make it easy for people who have never invested before to understand. Two stars for concept, none for lack of simplicity.

As a startup founder, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to invest in other startups. The Jobs act opened a LOT of doors for startups to raise capital, but it also left a lot of room to be desired for the investor. There were just too many platforms...it became a job to try and find the best deals.

I’ve invested in peer to peer lending, online REITs, and now have a chance to invest in startups through Newchip. It’s great to see so many businesses in one place, and not have to search multiple crowdsourcing platforms. Looking forward to seeing this growing further and becoming even more user friendly.

Error message after error message. At first it wouldn’t let me sign up because of a password error. Then I got continuous error messages when trying to input my phone number for confirmation. Then I tried sending confirmation through email and when i clicked ‘resend confirmation’ I got another error message stating: “JSON could not be serialized because of error: The data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the correct format.”

It was all very frustrating and not worth the hassle.

I downloaded Newchip to help diversify my investment portfolio but unfortunately I couldn’t even get through the sign up process. Didn’t recognize my phone number, unless they just don’t service DFW which would be foolish for them.
Either way, I believe that this is a great concept, just needs some bug fixes and a little better execution.

Newchip is the greatest thing ever as far as allowing the rest of us get in on some money making companies. This is literally how dreams have become reality. If u believe in something u see follow your heart and invest and maybe we will make it big time. Love this!!!!!!!

I just opened it a few minutes ago and it is really easy to use. You can scan through several companies with the flick of a thumb and go back later to do further research. Can’t wait to see what I can do from here.

I’ve been involved in regulation cf investing since may 2016 and I’ve been waiting for an app that can help me curate investing opportunities. Though it’s early I see the promise of Newchip to be the go to place to track your cf investments. Disclaimer: I’ve invested in their platform.

I downloaded Newchip to try it out and see what information about the companies are available (earnings, debt, team, etc.) but I am asked to give out ALL my information and phone number before even signing up. I would like to suggest allowing users to see and try out Newchip before we sign up for an account.

2 star because a cool startup, but I cannot make an account. When I try to log in with Facebook there is an error and when I make an account the normal way, I get to the point where I have to verify my phone number and I get an error message every time I try to put in a phone number. As of now, I literally cannot make an account. Please fix. I’d love to use Newchip .

Seems like an exciting prospect, but excitement is quickly dashed when you can’t even do something as simple as entering your phone # for SMS verification. I can’t believe so many reviews mention this and nothing is done about it. Guess it doesn’t really matter if you get new users. I read Newchip was acquired by another company, but if you aren’t going to support it then take it down or let people know. What a crock of crap.

Since the day I signed up for the service I have been slammed with spam calls I have a RoboKiller app and I am on the do not call list for the government but it doesn’t matter they sell your information. From that day on you will get slammed with phone calls about selling of different things I didn’t believe it when I saw reviews about it on Newchip reviews but it’s definitely true it’s ridiculous I’ve never had so many spam calls in my life.

I would invest in Newchip company if I could. I’m not rich but Newchip sure makes me feel like I have a chance. I believe in investing in brands and products. Go recommend Newchip to 10 people. What are you waiting for... Go!!!!!!

It’s a good, functional app that puts users in the “shark tank” if you will. But we’re the investors and the companies are petitioning our interest and investment. Even if you don’t “leap of faith” an “angel investment,” there’s plenty of information if you’re the entrepreneur.

Thanks to this app now average people like me, can invest our spare money in potential great business for a better retirement, instead of parking ur savings at the conner bank were only the top 1% benefits of our hard work.

I think it's a great thing that a young investor, such as myself, has the opportunity to invest in start ups. I've only heard about this stuff before, but never found an adequate platform to start the process. Outstanding!
