Career connected

If you want to be a surgeon or a doctor or and person who is like this this is great practice. It is disgusting but satisfying. I really enjoy AirwayEx and like it but that doesn’t me the other reviews are the same so right or wrong this is a good app I enjoy it I suggest you try it as well I guess but have a great time playing it. Also if I say why this title is career connected than I a mean like it like it.. connects with a career like a doctor or a surgeon or anyone connected to this like it makes a lot of sense and that is what I mean when I have the title that I do so I suggest you to play the really really really great or satisfying or good app because it inspires me maybe not you but I really like AirwayEx so have a fun time playing the really great inspiring app!!!

Amazing!

This game is amazing I’m a doctor I started out kinda bad but then I got really good after a few weeks! My friends are also doctors I told them they should get the game thank you so much creator this helped me so much! My daughter got a job as a nurse from this game it helped her so much she would go to school, do home work, go to horse riding lessons, then play on AirwayEx! This is amazing I suggest using AirwayEx if your planning on being a doctor! My co-workers tried AirwayEx out and they loved it!

Keep up the good work other doctors <3

Helpful for non-physicians

As a speech-language pathologist, I find AirwayEx to be a unique and interactive way to visualize the anatomy I am constantly assessing and treating in my practice. It may be especially helpful for SLPs who perform FEES studies, and those who work frequently with vocal fold dysfunction and upper airway disorders/injuries.

Of course, the CME feature is not applicable to me (but an excellent idea!), but it's an addicting simulation none-the-less, in addition to being educational, as noted above.

May I suggest to the developers that an app such as this for SLPs would likely be well received? ;)

Advancing a Peds OETT to 21 cm???

Seriously?!??!!! You mainstemming on purpose/ trying to perforate? Also options for using an Ovassapian airway/McGills/tongue pull would be a plus. Asleep FO intubations? Ability to pretreat or mask pts would be a plus. Additionally doing a rushed FO (time bonuses in AirwayEx ) can cause more trauma than doing a slower, steady intubation IRL. It’s a bit tricky to use AirwayEx w/o the haptic feedback you get from a real airway, but it’s a cute game for practice. Thanks for making it!

Helpful, but had a small problem

So I downloaded AirwayEx because I’m going into medical school in the fall. I tried it, but on the tutorial I’m having trouble turning ,eft. I turn left and right and still will not move me on

Love it!

Me and my brother go to the hospital a lot... And we sometimes have to go for this reason. I always wondered what it’s like for them. This is a great way to find out. I’m 10 years old, and this game is for me uncomfortable, but I’m not sure for others. This is great for practice and other reasons I truly do recommend it. Anyways that’s my opinion. Thank you!

Awesome!

So after using AirwayEx during CRNA school I got several compliments on my technique/skills driving the fiber-optic for several intubations. Thanks!... below is my original review after using AirwayEx only a few months. Now having used it for over a year I can fully say that AirwayEx is an amazing idea/trainer.

Pleasantly surprised

I really wasn’t expecting much, I mean it’s a mobile app, the bars set pretty low. But I was stunned at the quality of AirwayEx, it’s an amazing interactive educational program which sets the bar high for other medical simulation, both mobile and on computers.

E

The game is really cool but there’s only 2 problems so far for me. The first is it needs so much space to download. I had to delete games I got today! The second reason is that controlling is really hard. If you make a joy stick and something to go in and out for beginners that’ll be appreciated. But the game is good and I like it so far. Keep up the good work!

So realistic, but it’s not video?!

Intubation cases all look so real. Once I’m inside the airway, anatomy is incredibly detailed and responds to everything I do. Cases are interesting. Could be more challenging, but easy to get hooked and run through everything in one sitting.

Good but struggling

AirwayEx is amazing but needs a little bit of work, when i was doing unit 2 the large mass, how was i supposed to intabute the patient?
AirwayEx helps me with the body any its strenghs, and the inside
It helps me relax and stress at the same time thanks ex airway!

Amazing!

I am a 11 year old girl and have always been amazed at the things doctors do. My mother was a nurse and I strive to be like her! When I saw this game i was so excited! This game has taught me numerous things and now, I have all the CMEs! Thank you so much!

No Respiratory Therapist

As a respiratory therapist, I find it insulting that an intubation app of all things does not have the option to choose RT as a profession, yet has pharmacist? A handful of professions actually intubate in the real world. Physicians, respiratory therapists, paramedics and CRNAs. Every one of these professions should be an option when registering. The people who created AirwayEx should know this.

Awesome!

These graphics are the best I’ve seen in my entire life for games! But the only thing I hate if the challenges. If there were none people would play this every day. So this is only for people who know there stuff.

By

Good game

I this this is such a good game and those people that are actually studying and learning about this should check this game out but I just want to say I love and you should make more games like this 😁

By

Add to the Professions List

Hello, I’m a Respiratory Therapist and we also practice intubation in hospital and field (Flight Therapist) settings. Please add Respiratory Therapist as a profession. Thank You!!

By

Good game

I just think we should be able to explore more like the whole body maybe be able to go in the stomach

Helped me learn to intubate and refreshed my anatomy

This is the type of app that I hoped for 10 years ago in medical school - turns learning medicine into a game.

By

Extremely helpful!

AirwayEx is amazing! It actually helped me to intubate a little boy at Walmart when he needed to be bagged(long story). It’s great and it taught me how to intubate and went on to help me save a little boys life. Now maybe we could add some more challenging patients? Make it feel more realistic? Hear the patient breathing or stuff like that? I know it’s not going to look 100% realistic but less of a cartoony feel would be perfect! Maybe I’m just picky but AirwayEx is just amazing!

Very useful app

Downloaded this not long ago, find it very useful past the tutorial. If you’re on iOS11 try the AR case; interesting use of Apple’s tech.

By

Incredibly realistic sim

Down to the details - secretions, endoscope fibers, blood.
Never saw anything like it on my phone.
Very realistic.

Entertaining!

Great app for becoming familiar with the normal airway anatomy as well as the abnormal. Impressive graphics and control sensitivity...especially for an app that’s free.

This game is awesome

I’m actually not a nurse but I really want to be so I can kinda practice on this. I love this though it’s really fun!
