Beware - it will burn through your data on the road

2025-01-28

I really like FarePilot, but since I started using it, I’ve incurred $45 in over data limit charges. It ate through a gig of data in 2 days just being open in the background! I’ve never even come close to my daya limit as a driver before.

Do not open FarePilot unless you are connected to wi-fi and do not leave it open when you drive because otherwise it will cost you money not help you make it. There should be a warning about this on FarePilot .

Hotspots are garbage

2025-01-28

I’ve been using FarePilot for a week or so and the events are easier to reach than some of the sites I use for timing where I need to be, which is nice. But this whole “hotspot” thing is complete garbage. The spots are random, sometimes In the middle of a freeway, set of buildings or the center of parks and fields. Wouldn’t recommend you try to use the hotspots but the events are spot on about 85% of the time. Not to mention since I downloaded FarePilot and put my phone number in I’ve gotten a massive spike in spam callers.

This app is hot garbage

2025-01-28

The "hotspots" FarePilot creates are so fake it's hilarious. Somehow you all got 530 people to leave you reviews so they MUST be friends and family. FarePilot just generates random blips for to go to. It's so bad it just put a blip over a lake and it'll put some over random residential neighborhoods. The one thing FarePilot does do well is show upcoming events to take advantage of. I really hope that you all either remove the "hotspot" feature or that someone will find a way to sue you all.

No good

2025-01-28

I have tried a few different times now, I have even sat in the area for 5 plus and didn’t get any calls... I’ve traveled to another location they stated was hot but no calls. It says it tells you about events going on etc. my app just told me every time no events. Disappointed because I thought this would help things out. What’s worse is I was logged into Lyft and Uber at the same time.

Not worth the bandwidth

2025-01-28

This crapola app will have you chasing "hotspots" that disappear once you get there. Been moving for two hrs straight no ping for each 15 min wait. Nothing, so I realize the"hotspot" has moved somewhere else? I live there and same crap. What is exactly the purpose of this worthless app? Because I've been in the rd 2 hrs haven't gotten a ping once while sitting on "hotspot" big waste of time and gas.

Hot spots in sketchy areas

2025-01-28

So I have used FarePilot for about a week now, the thing I really like about it is the event information for what’s going on near me.

The hotspot part of FarePilot has put me in some sketchy places though, I have been at a strange trailer park, an abandon lot on the side of the road, and few locations I couldn’t get to due to them being gated communities and businesses.

Since I have used the hot spots I have only gotten two rides, which threw of my tempo for that day.

I will continue to use FarePilot for the events and occasionally try the hotspots again, hopefully I’ll have better luck in the future.

Patience

2025-01-28

It’s a fairly accurate app from my personal experience. Sometimes it’ll take around 15-20 min to get a ride but I think only once did I leave a hotspot area without a ride. I like how they give me updates of what they’re changing in FarePilot to help me get more rides too. Just have a little more patience and it’ll pay out.

Uber and Lyft driver here

FarePilot, Fairpilot, is really a great add on while rideshare driving because you always end up in foreign territory but instead of being “lost” now you can just turn on this app and get another trip request usually within a few minutes. Great and definitely recommend.

Very accurate

2025-01-28

FarePilot is very accurate I like the freedom to move to locations where is says there could be possible individuals to pick up after I get there I wait no more than three minutes or so before I get someone awesome.

Always receive a ride

2025-01-28

I might be exaggerating but any time I use FarePilot I’m bound to make $$. Before I made $$ but this help me to save gas instead of driving around n making my own pinpoints this app helps with all.

Great app

FarePilot let you know when you get a ride very fast and keeps you updated with events around you city

AMAZING!!!!

Excellent app. Never have to waste gas to chase surging areas. Can literally find hotspots in any area I’m near and on most occasions don’t have to wait more than 10mins. Love FarePilot!!!!
