This app is great!! Love the cards!

Only thing needed to bring my review up to 5 stars is add support for weather boosted Pokemon! I’m running into lots of errors.

Quickest calculator I have used

This IV calculator is the fastest one I've found so far and works great just using screenshots and will calculate multiple Pokemon's IVs at once. There is a suggestion I would make though, first I think it needs to show the possible cp range for your Pokemon's level and not just the cp range for when that Pokemon is its highest possible level. Also I would do the same for the evolution cp range so you can have an idea of what cp evolutions you can expect from evolving the Pokemon you evaluate. I really like a few of the other features of AutoIVChecker that most others don't have though, like being able to use the appraisals for more definite calculations and showing the amount of stardust and candy needed for max power up. Also I like that it has a full pokedex that has all the different attack options for each Pokemon, shows the best move set for defending and attacking gyms, has a list of all types that each Pokemon will do more or less attack damage to, and many more detailed features that help decide which Pokemon you want to really invest time and stardust into. If AutoIVChecker had the one suggestion I made earlier it would be 5 stars all day.

Cool App

Definitely works for me so I can do my IV’s on my iPad now since Poke Gene isn’t available for iPad. It’s worth it.

Garbage

Won’t even read data properly, keeps saying I need to edit stuff, even though everything is put in

Why they hide pokemons’ features?

I’m really curious...why??? No reason for hiding the features! Isn’t it? So disappointing.

hasn’t been updated in months

can’t pull a single iv from feebas, aron, etc. no lucky pokémon option.

WHERE IS POKE GENIE???

Meh..

Just crashes constantly.

Useful tool

AutoIVChecker is fairly intuitive, if a little clunky. It could use a first time tutorial. But once you figure it out it's great. Between just using screenshots (don't move the screen, just take the shot), using the descriptions from the appraise feature in game, to the cool little cards it makes this is a cool and useful app

App Crashes and Deletes Entire History

This is a standard app if you are using it to evaluate the iv of a few Pokémon. However, after uploading a few hundred new screenshots of my pokedex, I go to sort the list and AutoIVChecker crashes. Afterwards, the entire history old and new is deleted/lost. I tried a few more times and it does the same thing. Out of desperation, I tried paying to remove the ads thinking it will fix the issue. Nope. If you are looking to eval a few Pokémon then this is fine. If you are looking to save your history of all evals then you will be upset once it crashes and deletes your entire history/screenshotted pokedex.

Very helpful

Fast way to check IVs. It does make mistakes from time to time (misidentifies Pokémon, misreads CP or HP), but you can easily correct those errors before it calculates your IVs.

Also works as a quick source of helpful info (max CP, strengths and weakness, rankings of offensive and defensive move sets for each Pokémon, etc.)

I haven't tried any similar apps for comparison, but I can say this one does the job pretty well.

cool features and good interface

I like AutoIVChecker a lot. it has many cool features, like the built in pokèdex. I did feel like it was missing an evolution calculator so I can get an idea what cp it will evolve to. also I don't understand why I want to see the max level40 stuff.

Very useful.

Thanks to the developer of AutoIVChecker. I'm not yet sure how accurate this is - but I will post a new review after I crossmatch some apps. For now, this tool is very helpful especially in determining your Pokémon's IV so you'll not just rely on CP and not having some random evolutions and stardusts use.

Flat out, Best Pokemon Go Companion App

To start out, I never write reviews but I have to give credit where it's due. I've downloaded and deleted 5 or 6 different Pokedex and IV/EVO calculators. AutoIVChecker has absolutely every detail covered flawlessly. Just get AutoIVChecker

Great app. Very useful!

07/29/2019:

Could you add the 2nd charge move so those can appear on the cards?

07/02/18 Update:

App crashes on Natu, Shellder, Alolan Rattata, Voltorb, and most other Pokémon. Have to resubmit screenshots again. Very annoying and frustrating.

When AutoIVChecker actually works, it’s fantastic!

It might be limited to iPhones as my iPad worked after the update.

Initial review:

It makes it easier to appraise mass amounts of Pokémon. It’s also handy on my no-teamer that can’t appraise the standard way.

Love the cards!

Few problems (iOS user):

—App doesn’t recognize Pokémon if phone is paired/hotspotting or on a call while screenshots are taken. Blue/green bar at top of screen covers nothing needed to appraise.
—Support page doesn’t work.
—App crashes and loses place in mass appraises causing user to submit same photos again.
—App (currently) crashes upon starting appraising since recent update. I’ve not had success with AutoIVChecker today using 4 different iOS devices.
—App has a difficult time reading Nidoran (male), Shellder, Natu, Pidgey, Rattata, Squirtle, Pokémon with the “normal type” background (due to the circles that brighten and fade), and water type Pokémon due to the bubbles in the background.

Easy to use and accurate

Nice little app to easily check the strength of your Pokemon. Easy to use and so far I've found it to be quite accurate.

Nice app!

Very useful! Would be the BEST if you could save results for later viewing.

The Best Pokémon GO Pokédex Application

It looks like the developer(s) merged (and retired) a separate "Pokédex GO" with this Auto IV Checker app to make this one of the better "all-in-one" Pokémon GO apps.

In terms of the Pokédex, it's everything you can ask for in a reference application, you can get info on potential CP, the best offensive and defensive move sets and sort the best Pokémon for offense and defense by the best attacking and defending move sets respectively.

Both Updated and Legacy movesets have been included which is vital for those of us that have both legacy and new Pokémon, to figure out which of them to keep, transfer and look out for when hatching/catching/evolving.

The quick moves were also updated to reflect the most recent update which again, is good for the same reasons stated above.

In terms of the IV Checker, the screen shot capture doesn't quite capture information as well as other IV Checker apps like Poké Genie which is about as automatic as it can get.

The screen shot scan however, is working much better than previous versions requiring you to fine tune it only within 1 or 0.5 levels in the level arc.

What does set this IV Checker apart from the rest is the ability to make a "Card" from the data and screen capture of your favorite Pokémon that resembles a Card from the Pokémon Card game.

For certain Pokémon, it's worth the effort of having to manually enter the data. Hopefully the screen capture utility will be refined in future iterations however.

The bottom line is that this Pokémon GO companion application is worth using for both a companion reference app and Pokémon GO Card maker.

IMHO, this application is worth it just for the Pokédex alone, I only wish I could set the application so that it can open in the Pokédex by default or at the very least have an obvious way to get to it from the first screen when the application is opened.

Good

I miss the old Pokédex app, without the IV calculator...
