Just to get this out of the way: 1) It's probably an issue on my end. 2) I DO NOT IN ANY WAY HATE THIS GAME. I love this game to pieces and would love to get a threequel. Now, on with the review. Gameplay is amazing, mechanics and graphics are so nostalgic yet fluid. Until you get to the very last level. I might still be a noob at the game, but that last bossfight on 6-8 is THE MOST DIFFICULT. Probably because it's the final boss but eh.. Anyway, practically IMPOSSIBLE to play without a Golden Cat token. I have this thing where I have to ask my internet authorizer before I can make ANY purchases. Cue the acceptance of a $0.99 purchase, and the game freezes. Unable to proceed in the level (or even exit the "Tap to play as a Golden Cat" screen), I restart the game. Enter the level, and.. No Golden Cat. Again, this could be something wrong on my end, maybe the game needs instant payment for the powerup to work, I don't know. But what I do know is that I tried hitting "Restore Purchases" over five times. Still no token or Golden Cat. I hate to rate my favorite game anything under five stars; but alas, it could've gotten better had it actually been compatible with delayed payment for powerups.
