I downloaded this for free and colored one sheet then never opened Marvel again. Just received a charge for a subscription fee now?!? Not authorized or any notification that I was going to be charged. No problem with the actual app, but I didn’t want to pay for anything so it would never have been downloaded if I would have known this would happen.

EDIT: Just found another email were I was charged AGAIN for the same app subscription, 7 days after the first. Will be reporting and have already deleted. Buyer beware.

I love this app, and I love to color. Marvel functionality is actually pretty neat. It is missing some Apple Pencil features such as double tap to change tools, and most drawing apps when connected to a pencil uses your finger as an eraser, Marvel doesn’t. So why am I giving Marvel a 1 star review? Their subscription pricing. Their yearly option ($25/year) isn’t bad, I was ready to subscribe to that! But then I noticed something. They try to trick me, and all of their customers into subscribing weekly for $5, which comes out to $265/year. They put the price in the fine print, and promote the 7 day trail. This is shady business practice and Apple should step in. Check your subscription settings on Marvel to make sure you’re not overpaying!

I have had Marvel since it came out and at first I loved it. It combined two things I enjoy this app and art but then it started making me upset. When I got Marvel it used to give you two free drawings to color for each chapter released and the rest were for premium members only. That was totally fine with me because I was okay with only having two free drawings out of a chapter because I can’t afford to get the membership. Then each chapter started coming with one free drawing which was a little disappointing to me because I couldn’t color as much and the drawings tended to be relatively plain but nonetheless I was happy to color a drawing each chapter. I just went on Marvel the other day (like I do everyday) and I saw the new chapter was out and I was excited to see what my one free drawing would be from this chapter but I was frustrated when I clicked on it and saw that none of the drawings are free anymore. I really loved Marvel at first but now I’m frustrated that I don’t even get to color anything. I used to get on Marvel when I was anxious or stressed but now I can’t even use Marvel without paying to use the it. It’s frustrating because what’s the point of having an app if you can’t even use it.

Marvel is good but the amount of coloring pages are limited due to the trial not everybody has money like that I can’t pay for this and my mom is definitely not. I’m not telling u to not to make your bread keep the trial thing. But u can at least give us more pages to work with besides one on each section like this app masters section why can’t u just give us for and the rest we have to pay for. This is my frustrations and probably some ppls who use Marvel to. It’s just aggravating as hell not being able to do the ones i that I like truly and maybe you’ll take this into consideration.

Maybe if they added a zoom in /out and or a fit to screen button?
I like the pictures and would love to color a lot of the locked ones...BUT it gets really frustrating when you try to zoom in to get all the little spots by pinching you’re recoloring stuff you already colored. Sometimes you don’t realize till you finally get it to zoom out and the you can’t undo enough times to get it back and even if you do you still HAVE to zoom back in to recolor the little spots again.
I LIKE a lot of the brush options that come with the free option and there’s plenty of stuff I’d like to try with the paid but I’m not paying for anything when it’s frustrating just to use what’s already available.

First, if you don’t mind having to pay for it it’s really not that bad. A good way to relax and still enjoy your this app fix. I’ve been a fan for over 30 years now and I am enjoying this so far. The biggest problem I do have with Marvel is if you are making a paid app it should have a family shaving option as well. It would be nice to sit down with the kids and each one come up with their own...

Now this game would be a five star if everything was free, charge for the game not make people pay every month or year. Do you honestly the people who made the some of the drawings want to have people pay to color them. Is this what Stan Lee wanted, I don’t think so. Make everything free of charge. If you don’t agree with that then make all the drawings free, and still pay for some coloring tools and have some premium book. This game would be a lot better if all pictures are free.

I used to have a year subscription, and it ran out... I didn’t renew at the time and went to renew it 2 weeks later... I guess they don’t do a year subscription anymore... the monthly is way too high of a price, I would have gladly paid what I used to for a year. Sad day as I really liked Marvel but just didn’t use it frequently enough to pay monthly at the price they want

The daily free art is enough to keep you busy and there is a decent selection of free art in the individual collections. But to pay the extraordinary prices for weekly or even monthly is outrageous. I get my this app Unlimited subscription for about the same with access to tens of thousands of comic books. Would love to have access to the other brushes and fills but not at those costs.

App can be buggy at times with crashes and pages that come up as blank.

But all in all a good time waster. Just don’t waste the money for a membership.

I am a huge this app nerd, so I was very happy to find Marvel. The pictures are amazing and it makes me feel like a real artist. However, you only get one picture from each chapter if you don’t pay for the subscription. I really don’t want to pay because my account is connected to my moms credit card. Still amazing app I recommend if you are a this app fan.

There are good and bad things about Marvel -Good: Works great, allows me to save and share my pictures. Bad: Cost- it’s a little high prices for the things I find wrong with it. No import- I can’t draw from scratch or bring in my own drawings

Update: I really enjoyed Marvel. But I had to cancel my subscription because the price got to be too much. Almost $7 a month.

Great app. Fun times. You can reside without membership but a lot of things are locked. I find the price too much. The fact that it isn’t permanent is annoying too. For a price like that there’s so much more you could do. Worth downloading if you’re a fan and like coloring but don’t get membership. If you just want to color with premium then check Marvel Store for them. The price is cheaper and it lasts because it isn’t membership, just purchase.

I really love Marvel However it needs hundreds more coloring books and pages from all this app movies and heroes and villains and we all don’t have enough money for subscriptions on Marvel so please do Free coloring books and pages because I like to color pages plus not every app has subscriptions so how about watching short ads to unlock them and we can keep coloring

I really like color your own this app because it means that I finally get a chance to see my favorite superheroes, and more like Deadpool I had no idea what deadpool was. So be sure to get Marvel and you’ll see all kinds of new superheroes. I have an idea for Marvel though.
Maybe if we finish our 145 pictures then it would unlock 145 more

I really don't understand the people who complain about the cost of Marvel. It's less than the cost of a cheeseburger a week. Like, seriously...? The amount of work that goes into designing, maintaining, improving, and marketing apps like this would blow your mind. These artists and developers are real people and this is their real job. They deserve a paycheck like everyone else. Marvel is awesome and really one of a kind---I'd be happy to skip a cheeseburger to contribute instead to quality work like this.

The subscription is a little pricy but 25$ a year is a pretty nice deal. Marvel is so much fun. I draw this app stuff all the time and wish I could color them but I’m horrible at coloring so I don’t. But then I got this and wow. There’s so many things to color with pencils,markers,paint brushes you can even do paint splatter which is awesome. I love coloring all my favorite this app comics characters. That’s why I give it five stars

I think this app Color Your Own is a great app. It's fun and relaxing and has lots of great features, from different brush types, to tons of different colors and special effects. There's enough variety to keep me interested, but it's also simple enough for my 7 year old to enjoy. It has a great selection of pages to choose from, with new ones coming out all the time. I have read some of the negative reviews, like "Could be Better" and feel like some of these people don't understand how to use Marvel correctly as some of their complaints aren't really accurate. I would recommend this to any this app comics fan. It makes be feel like I could be a comic book artist!

I love it and have had it for probably about a year now. You never get tired of it because of the daily new pages, and the frequent new chapters of pages.
It be great if they put info on what comic book # each coloring page is from. I like using those as references, but that takes a lot of searching.

I love to color this app characters like the game you made I really do you like the game you made because it allows us to
color. I’ll give you a five star review because I like this game and I think it was a good idea for you to make it actually a really good idea. Do you Think that you could make a nother game like this. I’ve always loved this app characters I’ve always watched it and I’ve always love to color in my coloring book since I was five it was actually a this app coloring book but I really thought that it was a zombie coloring book because some of the characters look like zombies are we start the this app characters were zombiesBecause I was making up a comic book like that. I really hope that this game stays around forever because I think it will be a very good game for everyone and I think everyone will like it.

Well I would like if you get ☝️ coloring page each day rather then ✋ every day! Oh and don’t think I didn’t notice you added Han Solo and Vader! Listen I know your trying hard but even tho I have newly downloaded this game I still do‘ not like it one ⭐️ out of five ✨ ⭐️ ⭐️s so if you want it to be better remove Star Wars coloring pages I mean come on! Does Disney even make avengers?! This game is starting to get weird to Much coloring pages to even color know how much longer I can keep the game I have just deleted it ok be better you can do better then this

Okay, I don’t hate it, it’s a fairly decent “free” app.
It’s been problematic most of the time though. I don’t have internet access all day every day. When I do get online and try to play catch-up, it turns out to be a flop. If you miss days, you can’t get all of the pictures that you missed; and most of the time, I look to see what’s in the “new” category and find the same pictures that have been there for weeks. Apparently, there is but one way to keep up with them; and that’s only if you subscribe.

First of all, I would like to proceed by stating my experience and opinion. I really enjoyed Marvel to begin with and thought it was a very well developed game. But, over time I noticed two major flaws and red flags for me. The first flaw being most of the pages are locked and I understand they want you to buy premium but more than three fourths of the pages are locked. Next, every time I was more than 50% finished and it would glitch and put this staticky pattern looking black shapes over my hero’s I coloured and take the paint off completely, while this made me more than frustrated I could never remove it completely and frankly it just wasted my time. I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this glitch but I hope it can be fixed soon. If anyone has experienced this aggravating glitch leave a response or comment letting me know what your review on Marvel was, and opinions on the program.
