Loved being able to use What’s Up on my iPad but never for one minute thought a deletion of the IPad would simultaneously clear the postings on the iPhone. Another small aggravation, but still an aggravation is when keyboarding a message I will occasionally get an Alert Tone and the microphone icon which change from grey to white and I have to back space and correct. What causes the microphone to receive voice or background noises when it has as far as I know BEEN TURNED OFF..OTHER THAN THAT I LOVE USING THE iPAD’S BIGGER KEYBOARD.

Texting, voice and video calling to or from anywhere in the world, are you kidding me?!!!!! What an awesome service, and it's free! How can anyone complaint about small glitches every now and then, how can anyone complaint about the small banners with ads, when it is free, guys get real!Thank you for a great App but most importantly for the awesome service and for making it available for anyone in the planet, for free!E Millan, Naples, FL

Im using the free version. Texting works great! I've had clear international video and phone conversations in the past (months ago) but lately (Nov 2017) they've been choppy, one side hears clearly while the other hears bits and peaces. App Suggestion: It would be helpful to be able to reply or react (emoji) to a past message/picture/video. Overall great to have as a communicating option.

I have an iPhone and MacBook Pro and recently got an iPad for a birthday present. I am disappointed with the layout and frustrated with the banner ads, in comparison to the apps on different devices. Finding and starting chats isn’t as straightforward. If I could find in Messenger Store, I’d be willing to pay for a better version without ads and more like the other platforms I’m used to. Furthermore, trying to use it now, it’s giving me an error message. I can’t even use it. Lowered rating to 2 stars

I love the ability to connect with my child( ok young man) Whois working abroad. Sharing photos from home and easy communication is such a relief. I haven’t experienced any glitches unlike some apps that go down and I appreciate the feature that allows me to see my son has read my message. Hmm. Can WhatsApp tell my kid to respond in a timely manner?😉

I always love to play Dubai Drift 2 and there’s a thing in that game where you share on anything even whatsapp (not this one) now I’ve tried many different ways to add this whatsapp onto the sharing thing but it wont even come and my dad won’t even allow me Family Sharing so I can do it a phone but no! Please fix this problem! T.H.A.N.K.S!!!

Glad i was able to dl to my ipad. Makes it easier to send messages and keep in touch without having my phone on me at all times. Haven't noticed any issues and the only reason i gave it 4 stars was bc of the advertisement pop ups-those can get annoying.

My family and I are traveling overseas from the United States. It has saved so much money with being able to keep in touch with family, friends, and clients. We can text each other, phone calls, and even video call with Messenger. Keep up the great work! Highly recommended!

Like it so far, I'm able to talk with family who live in a different country then me. And love the fact I can send pictures and texts. It's like having a separate phone. Also I'm surrounded by mountains and they don't seem to cause me to many problems in receiving messages and calls.

I downloaded Messenger and it worked once. It had me scan the WhatsApp barcode from Messenger on my phone, similar to setting up a WhatsApp to be viewed on a computer. Messenger stays on landscape form and will not turn vertical. The next time I tried to use it, it just stayed on marketing messages like app features, FAQs where to download, etc. there was a “back to WhatsApp” link but if you click that you get an error message. Messenger does not work.

Tried to use in on an iPad mini running iOS 12.1.1. I get an intro screen with an ad for WhatsApp and a button that says ‘back to whatsapp.’ I’ve clicked it repeatedly and nothing happens. So the “app” does nothing. I’ve deleted it several times and tried downloading it again with the same results. Why is there even an ad for Whatapp? No one would download this if they didn’t already have WhatsApp. This thing shouldn’t be on Messenger Store. It’s not the spawn of Satan, but it’s totally useless.

I never write reviews but Messenger is so bad that it warrants writing a review. I tried installing it twice with the same negative results. After installation concluded I open the “app.” First it asked to allow notifications (yes) and then it placed me on a webpage with a large unrelated advertisement covering the bottom 20% of the screen. The rest of the display was a webpage for the which oddly enough included a download page. No setup link, no setup wizard nothing. Just a webpage without navigation controls. Uninstalled.

I like Messenger .. it performs well and is consistent but.... why can't I do video conferencing / meeting on my IPAD or computer, like I can on my phone. And why when I have a 'call' or 'video call' on my phone I don't see it and have the ability to accept it on my IPAD or computer

I LOVE💖💛💙💚💜💝 WhatsApp to communicate with all my friends and groups with all kinds of messages, pictures, videos, and etc to send and receive them to friends and family. ' so I want to open it also in my iPad too. So I need to know how to get the scanner etc Thanks.

I love WhatsApp but the version for the iPhone doesn’t run ads. However this one does for the iPad. I am a bit miffed at this. I went ahead and paid the $2.99 to get rid of the ads but it’s frustrating to say the least. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars.
