About Army PRT
The Army PRT App is for the U.S. Army Soldier who needs a quick and easy solution to calculate the Physical Fitness Test and Body Composition Test (weigh in or tape test) scores.
The Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) has two events: the Body Composition Assessment (BCA) and the Physical Fitness Test (PFT).
In most cases, failure to pass the Army's minimum weight or body fat percentage standards will make you ineligible for promotion, transfer, reenlistment or opportunities to attend professional schools.
The APFT is to be taken at least twice a calendar year and you must be able to meet the minimum standards to be eligible for promotion, transfer, and to attend Army schools.
If you do not meet the initial height/weight requirements, the Army uses a calculation based on your abdominal and neck measurements to determine your body fat percentage.
This may be done at the same time as your Army Physical Fitness Test.
The Body Composition Test ensures every soldier is healthy, physically fit, and combat ready.
The APFT is a three-event physical performance test used to assess endurance.
Within the The Body Composition Test you will be required to weigh in at least once every six months.
This Army PFT App is current with the latest version of FM 7-22 and offers full support for alternative cardio events.
The program requires you to meet specific weight standards, which are based on their height, weight, and gender.
Please note: we have made every effort to make the app match the Army PRT standards.
It is a simple way to measure your physical strengths, abilities, and cardio-respiratory fitness.
Unlike other military endurance tests, the APFT is normally performed in workout gear and running shoes.

This app is great.
I don’t know if a better app for tracking my APFT and HT/WT scores. I find it easy to use. I can track and review my historical scores.
Requested improvement: It would be great if they would add an additional field for other notes. For example, I would like to record the name of the person/unit who administered the test.

Needs numeric keypad
Can't type your data in. Have to use a slider to scroll through the numbers. Can't have fat fingers.
Also too many pages to navigate through. Needs to have simple entertainment function that displays pass/fail with your percentage and overage for body fat standards. Deleted.

Good App
Good app and great features. There should be a way to add multiple people and then update their scores and then email complete DA 705s for signing and printing. There are a few spelling and grammar issues but nothing serious. I would pay some coin to have it email me the DA 705s.

It would be a lot better with a numerical keyboard to type the data instead of displaying a full keyboard.
Also, add a button to tab to the next field instead of trying to navigate by scrolling down

Best APFT app
This is ArmyPRT we've been waiting for, it's free and simple to use. Body fat and fitness standards are included, upgrade to Pro so you can track your test progress in graph form. Screw the other mandatory paid apps!

Great App
Simple to use and the he dashboard is user friendly. The standards are up to date and keep you on track. It's also nice to enter height and weight statistics too. Good design!

Great App!
This is a great app, I like how I can track my stats over time which is very nice.
Some improvement ideas:
Add a section for the APFT event briefs in case you are one of the ones administering the test events.
Add a more in depth body fat section, so it can take the average of the three measurements taken on ArmyPRT it's self.
Over all great app! Hopefully those added features may come soon
