Very Hungry Caterpillar Shapes Reviews

My kids love VeryHungryCaterpillarShapes but get so frustrated (and so do mom and dad) because a piece freezes at some point on almost every level causing us to have to constantly reboot VeryHungryCaterpillarShapes . Please fix the freezing issue and make it so progress can be saved as well.

It’s been really helpful for my 3 year old but no matter what activity you do, a piece seems to freeze and you’ll have to restart VeryHungryCaterpillarShapes and it makes him start from the beginning.

My 2-year old loves the shapes game, but as many people have already said, the shapes eventually freeze, and he gets frustrated to no fault of his own.

Please don’t tell me to email support as you’ve replied in so many other reviews. Just fix it!

My daughter loves this game but it keeps freezing and then we have to start all over. It’s frustrating.

We love it if it wouldn’t freeze.

My 2 year old son loves the game, but after 5 minutes or so the game glitches and becomes stuck. At that point you have start over from the beginning. Makes him tire of the game quickly.

As others have said - some pieces get “stuck” and don’t respond to touch. Developer hasn’t updated in years so don’t expect it to get fixed.

My toddler loves it and it’s very challenging but it glitches and the pieces get stuck making us have to reset and that’s when he gets frustrated and uninterested. It happens a lot.

Doesn’t work right everything is a purple color. Wish I could share a picture of it. Only gave 3 stars because it does work on my daughter’s Amazon kids tablet and she loves it. I was hoping it would work since I paid for it.

This game has been optimized for newer iPhone models. The gameplay is buggy. Certain shapes get stuck and won’t move or where they belong.

Nice app, free of any of the problems that micro-transactions can give a 3-year-old. To the parent who complained that VeryHungryCaterpillarShapes doesn't say each shape or letter- how about you take the time to play VeryHungryCaterpillarShapes with your kid and take part in the learning experience. Don't knock VeryHungryCaterpillarShapes for promoting a healthy parenting environment.

Rather than letting my daughter just browse the internet on my phone, I found this game and it keeps her entertained pretty much until my battery dies. I like that it's educational and the music is pleasant for me to tolerate for the hours of fun she gets out of VeryHungryCaterpillarShapes.

Sick of the free apps with horrible graphics & confusing games for your toddler/preschooler? Then get this. Bought for my two year old, very well made. Love the game options, I think he'll get a kick out of it.

My four year old loves VeryHungryCaterpillarShapes! The music is very peaceful and she loves matches shapes, colors and even shades of colors. The only problem is that every time she gets about ten minutes in, VeryHungryCaterpillarShapes glitches and a shape won’t move and there’s nothing we can do but close VeryHungryCaterpillarShapes and start over. It always bums her out to have to quit and start over.
