UniverseofEmotions is dysfunctional. It takes too long to get into UniverseofEmotions to begin with. It also freezes often when trying to access certain tabs. Why are you charging people for this crap?

Worked fine on my iPhone XR but since I upgraded, it’s not allowing me to input any information. I uninstalled and reinstalled it. Note there’s no data.
Loved the concept, just should have looked at the fact that UniverseofEmotions hasn’t been updated in 5 years.

I can’t read the text in your boxes and can’t seem to enlarge the screen. Can’t find settings or support options. It may be a great app if I could see it. No much use until I can. If anyone in the company reads these reviews, I would not have chosen this method of contact if I could have found a settings icon or some other way to ask for help.

It is a wonderful concept, but as an app it needs improvement. When I try to log an emotion like "satisfied", which exists in the apps universe, it doesn't recognize it. The "solar system" second button left high corner doesn't work. I would like to press on a planet and have the option to log it from there, and not to go through several more steps and also for UniverseofEmotions to keep the real time ( when logging emotions I have to enter my time, like I would remember that I had a feeling at 3:27)

Up date as to how bad UniverseofEmotions is tried to log in today and will not let me even open UniverseofEmotions anymore.
I bought UniverseofEmotions after seeing a Ted talk. Though it is mostly what I expected it is frustrating that many emotions don’t have a solar system. Emotions that I feel would obviously need to be dug into deeper like anxious & worried just stand alone. I’m not sure I would buy UniverseofEmotions again I’m a bit disappointed. It still does seem to have many bugs in the search and when you zoom in and out it jumps around. But I’ll keep using it since I paid the money but I wish it didn’t have so many emotions that didn’t have solar systems

I think this application is a fantastic idea, however, no matter where I try to open it, it simply will not load. So I wait and wait and wait and never get to input my data. I guess you could say I’m perpetually on the “frustrated” planet. Deleting soon.

I thought UniverseofEmotions would be interesting to test out based on the Ted Talk but after spending 5 minutes trying to get UniverseofEmotions to load and unsuccessfully trying to tap on the search icon I've concluded it's not worth the effort it would take to even locate where Frustration is in the universe of emotions, let alone try to get off it.

Overall great idea with lots of research behind it, but poor execution

It's a neat idea, but its usefulness is limited by the lack of information about how to move from one part of the "universe" to another!

I got UniverseofEmotions after a break up. I wanted to understand my feelings and emotions and get over my pain.

Search icon won’t work

The notes feature won’t always work - and this was important as I was trying to track my recovery from the break up.

And the mapping is not accurate. I went through quite a long period of negative emotions. I can see that in the calendar, but when I try to map my journey it won’t show most of my visits to negative emotions.

All in all I really like the idea but the glitches keep it from getting a 5star review.

I love UniverseofEmotions but when I got to log my emotions I can only type a small sentence unless I break it down in chunks and this really gets in the way of promoting down anything and that literally a key feature in UniverseofEmotions I’d say

It worked a couple of times but now it stays stuck on the welcome screen. I tried deleting and re-installing, didnt fix the problem.

Useful tool for naming emotions, but a list of solar systems or even a more detailed search capability would be helpful with so many emotions available. Not convenient for quick logging.

UniverseofEmotions is brilliant in concept, and with a little work to smooth out the glitches and maybe some minor added features, UniverseofEmotions could be much more convenient to use.

That being said, I see it as having great potential in exactly what it is intended to do. I’ve seen great healing in learning to experience emotions, and learn to navigate the world of emotion after having grown up in a culture that suppressed and ridiculed emotion in men.

The search function barely works. You have to click it many times and even then it may not open. Fixing that alone would be a great improvement.

Also, navigation in UniverseofEmotions is difficult. Zooming in or out is not smooth at all and it’s very easy to lose your place in the “universe.”

Still, I couldn’t give it less than 4 stars. I hope to see UniverseofEmotions improve. If it does, I can see recommending it regularly as a way to learn to navigate emotions in a healthy way.

I am still using it, at least until the glitches become too tedious.

Please keep working on this. The concept is beautiful.

I saw the TED talk and immediately downloaded UniverseofEmotions. I’ve struggled to identify my feelings since I was a teen (I’m 34)... and I love how this charts my emotional journey. I love how when I’m in a negative space I can search for the nearest ‘happier’ planet and just focus on that for the day to help me love toward healthiness.

Would it be possible to add a brief description on how to sit in the emotion? And what I might do to overcome it/relish in it?

Oh! Also... when I log in, can you make it so i dont have to tap the people on the hill to enter the planets? Like, once it loads, can it automatically go to the solar system?

So far I really love UniverseofEmotions. Love the visualization and the ability to track mood changes over time. DATA POINTS! Being able to better define emotions using the circling planets around a work is very insightful.

However...the search button isn’t working for me and it’s driving me crazy!! Don’t make me hunt around for everything. There are too many words to do this quickly without a search function.

I watched a TED Talk and saw UniverseofEmotions there. I was hesitant to buy with no reviews but I'm glad I did. Great place to explore and learn some new words and ideas. On the opening screen, it was not clear that you tap on the words at the top to continue after the content loads. Links to definitions or others examples of what got them to the place emotionally would be interesting additions. Next would be to describe the "ships" or transports that get people from one place to another in this universe of emotions.

Coupled with my studies on emotional intelligence and success, just after a couple of days of using UniverseofEmotions i have had monumental breakthroughs. proper application of UniverseofEmotions along with a correct understanding of its purpose is extremely helpful. the narrow minded need not apply.

This is app is great. Five minutes in and I’m beginning to find words and phrases to describe my emotions with words I didn’t know existed. Meanwhile, reading all the angry reviews proves the point that people aren’t willing to pursue ownership. App doesn’t download fast enough? Blame UniverseofEmotions rather than get a new phone. Words too small to read? Blame UniverseofEmotions rather than getting new glasses. Want a $1.99 refund because you’re dissatisfied and broke? Blame UniverseofEmotions rather than not spending money you don’t have. Wanna know why I’m depressed? Because I live in a society where we can have anything we want on our doorstep by merely touching our phone in all the right places, yet I’m constantly surrounded by miserable, ungrateful people….all the time. I’m often (and unwillingly) the smartest (or most insightful) person in the room and before I realize it, I’m blacklisted because others feel threatened by me. I don’t have inkling of confidence to stand up for myself, yet I’m constantly bulldozed by incompetency only because I freeze up and don’t know the right things to say until the moment is gone. That’s why I often feel like hurting myself (don’t worry, I’m fine). That’s where my pain is. I don’t expect a phone app to solve my problems, but it’s at least informative. Thanks.
