Beanstock - Stock Portfolio Reviews

Not quite understanding what’s causing the issue, but whenever I add how much of a stock I’ve purchased, I feel a vibration indicating that it was added to my portfolio, but the screen remains unchanged. There is no “back button” or anything else to escape the “add trades” screen! I have to exit out Beanstock , end it from running in the background and reopen it for it to show me the homepage. I’ve already reset my phone twice to see If it’s an issue on my end. Overall though, Beanstock is hands down the best stock portfolio app I’ve seen on Beanstock Store. It’s very beautiful, simple, and well put together. When this insanely minute, yet crippling bug is fixed, my review will be at 5 stars.

Beanstock has bricked itself for the last couple of weeks or so. I thought an update might help but the most recent one did not. All market data is fixed at zero, but my entered data seems to be retained in Beanstock . I wish there were a better way to reset Beanstock without losing data and re-entering the numbers. I am not a iPhone pro so maybe there are ways to solve problems like this.

I spent a lot of time scrolling thru Beanstock Store trying to find a basic app where I could track all of my stock holdings in one place, since I use multiple brokerage accounts. This is it. My only complaint is that there should be a field to enter a commission fee at purchase. A field for date of purchase wouldn’t hurt either. Other than that, I really appreciate Beanstock.

Hi, I’ve always loved Beanstock because I was able to enter all the stocks I watch, keep track of portfolio, etc. Suddenly, I am no longer able to see the daily price of each share, but can still see my initial investment and share amounts and increases but not the actually daily price. Is there a fix for this? Thank you for your time.

I use Beanstock daily and I love it! The simplicity of Beanstock and the clean user interface makes it one of the best Apps in it's category.
To make Beanstock even better, I'd like you to add few extra things:
1- the ability to add the dates where the trades were purchased, to track for how long I owned that stock
2- would be great if there's iCloud/Dropbox integration, so I won't have to enter the trades manually every time I reset my phone or buy a new one.
3- Support page within Beanstock with a custom form instead of just an email, specially that the email is not working.

I was able to add stocks to my portfolio, but as of now still haven’t given any of my personal information. What is my next step to register? I would like receive credit for the stocks I tried to purchase. I am looking forward to buying more stock once I find out how to operate it properly... Hope to hear from you soon...Thank you

Heard about Beanstock on shark tank and figure I give this a try but can’t seem to find out how to sign up, add stocks or simple said how this works and I can use to invest for my son but nada and just no options I saw online thru Beanstock. I guess R.I.P bean stock and my search will continue to find a good reliable stock trade to invest with and actually works with out glitches to start investing with for my son to also learn about stocks and investments..

I downloaded Beanstock and it didn't ask for me for any information. It's open the moment you download it. I fiddled around with it and added a stock now I'm up $.40 (forty cents) but I haven't added any of my bank cards, no name, no info, no nothing. What's up?? I don't get it. How exactly do I earn anything? Is there some kind of tutorial?

His would be a 5 Star app if it worked every time you looked at it. When it works it’s just what you need to track your stocks. It just doesn’t work enough times.

I love Beanstock, I use it everyday to keep track of my portfolio's gains and losses. I really like that I can enter my purchase price and number of shares and it will show me my portfolios status. Thanks!

I thought Beanstock would be an easy step in understanding and therefore investing in stocks. But it doesn’t explain anything, it simply asks you to choose a stock. What if you don’t have a clue about it. I thought it would have some stocks already picked so you can start investing, but I didn’t see it.
It has NO tutorial on how to get started.

Beanstock is simple to use. Unfortunately, it does not automatically update. I would manually update my portfolio by pushing the page down.

I found Beanstock after listening to the financial grownup podcast. Similar to a couple other reviews from a few months back I added a stock but have not been asked for any personal info and there is no info in Beanstock or faq about how you actually earn on Beanstock. Or is this just to pretend invest? I don’t get it.

I haven’t linked any card or anything or even made an account, am i using actual money or even actually investing? Could someone explain how this works?

Beanstock is simple and shows me just what I need. The developer is quick to respond. There was a crash issue and it was resolved quickly.

This is close to what I’m looking for, but I notice there’s no notation for date of purchase. As a result while it’s nice to see each stock’s performance, I can’t the return over time.

App stopped working and nothing seems to help. Really enjoyed the simple clean display... when it worked.

I was under the impression I can buy small amounts of stock. Beanstock doesn’t take any personal info. It basically prompts you to add stock. When I do a search for example, Apple stock, nothing happens. I don’t see instructions anywhere on how to use. Beanstock seems unfinished. Disappointed!

This is basically the only app of its kind and I'm very happy to have found it. Unfortunately, it doesn't load the stock prices and thus is rendered basically useless. Please fix this issue, it's been ongoing for months now. I see you updated the API however the issue remains.

When you click the say hi (email) you can never get back to app without killing it. No Face ID support. Needs instructions in app to. Keep going you got something good.
