I have a love/hate relationship with ChickenSaladChick. I love CSC. I love being able to order something to go. I love that the cafe is always accurate with my orders. I hate that ChickenSaladChick never remembers my location (I only use one CSC!), glitches sporadically inhibit the ordering process (esp. with customizations), and most of all - that when I do am order through ChickenSaladChick I NEVER get the points added into my craving points balance. I have to ask at the store for a receipt to scan. And not just that - I have to remind employees (after a failed attempt or two) that they have to ring up the order as a dine in order (even if it was to go) in order to get the barcode for me to scan and eventually I get the points I should’ve been credited right when I placed my order and paid for it in ChickenSaladChick . I’ve even gone through customer service/support for ChickenSaladChick for this last, biggest issue... with zero response from CSC. It’s disappointing, especially from a chain I like so much in so many other ways.

ChickenSaladChick experience is miserable from initial order to check out. Have to enter a credit card since they have no option for Apple Pay or Pay Pal, so you better trust them with your credit card. Seeing how poorly ChickenSaladChick experience was, I didn’t want to trust them with security, so that means I’ll need to re-enter CC to use each time. Ordering is challenging, going back or misclicking will often take you to the beginning. From checkout its unclear how to add new items if you decide to order more. Even selecting the location for carry-out is not user friendly. It feels purposely designed to annoy customers. I use many carry out apps, this is by far the worst. But I’ll stay go in and enjoy their food, ChickenSaladChick ….maybe not again.

Have a 50/50 shot at getting the scan to work on receipts. Online ordering is a joke for several reasons 1) you cannot order from the whole menu...no option for the kid’s menu items. 2) there are no descriptions of the various chicken salads 3) if you click the wrong button, you end up being taken out of the order and losing anything you’ve previously added

I’m doubtful there will be any meaningful updates to address these issues as I see so many reviews that lament on the same issues, and many are 1-2 years old. I wish corporate and app development cared as much about their customers as the employees at my local store do.

So I'm not quite sure how CSC can send me push notifications to let me know to have Bluetooth turned on, but they cannot just send special offers that way. Definitely a head scratcher.

Since most locations do not offer Wifi, the day I wanted to redeem my birthday offer, ChickenSaladChick wouldn't load, and they wouldn't honor it. I finally had to walk outside, go next door to Noodles and Company, use their Wifi, and walk back to CSC just to use said reward. There needs to be a better way. Until then, three stars.

I don’t understand why you won’t invest a little money into fixing this awful app for your customers. There are multiple problems and considering all of the bad reviews you have to be aware of them, so why won’t you fix it? I love CSC and I order here a lot. Its so frustrating that ChickenSaladChick won’t automatically give me my rewards. I shouldn’t have to email you for them and I shouldn’t have to scan anything! Not to mention all the other stupid issues. I and so many others spend a lot of money in your restaurants. We are your loyal customers and are asking you to fix the issues with ChickenSaladChick!

Add a map feature to the locations tab, ie I want to look in South Florida to see if you have any stores I can order from for my parents-not scroll through a list of locations

Allow me to delete multiple emails at one time, not just individually!

The scanner is slightly better, but they went months without sending promo information, like double points day and Giving Card monthly deals. They also didn’t tell us when the new Giving Card was available.
The only reason I went in earlier this week was for Double Points Day. Scanned my receipt- NO DOUBLE POINTS. Why bother? I could have gotten rewards anywhere, but I went here specifically for the bonus points. I’ll stick with restaurants whose apps actually work.

That sums it up; love the food, but a better app would have me buying from CSC more often!

I waste 10 minutes a week because ChickenSaladChick doesn’t show your food order history - and therefore I cannot reorder our Favorites - which exist in my Profile via the website. It’s a pain as I cannot order on the go; I have to remember to log into my computer to place my order before I leave my office or house. I guess I’m a spoiled 50+ person, even Subway’s app is easier to use (and that’s not saying much.)

I don’t usually do reviews, but this is the absolute worst app I’ve ever used. By time I maneuver through ChickenSaladChick trying to get my order placed I’m literally starving. While ordering there are no food description as to what’s in each salad. You have to leave ChickenSaladChick and google salad descriptions. After maneuvering through ChickenSaladChick trying to get the order placed if you hit the back button before actually placing the food in the cart your entire order is lost. Trust me it’s easier to go through the drive thru during rush hour on a Friday afternoon than it is to use ChickenSaladChick.

App is not very user friendly! I think maybe making the selections easier to get to and better clarity on items. For example, I ordered a special and in the picture it appears a drink comes with it but when I placed my order it asked for me to add a drink. And then when I selected my drink it was an added charge which is fine but I also wasn’t able to select my drink. Which would be a nice feature due to me working in a doctor’s office and sometimes we take turns picking up each other’s lunch. Other than that it’s very cute and I absolutely love the rewards systems!

I have never ever been able to use ChickenSaladChick without problems. It wont let me log in; wont save my password; will ask for my location numerous times when i’m just trying to place an order ahead of time; never ever saves my past orders - says I have none. Try ordering just The Chik on croissant - good luck with that lol - never a bread option for croissant. During covid ive actually sat in their parking lot trying to use ChickenSaladChick & just place 1 order & i’ve given up & just called them on the phone.

There's not a lot of good to be said about ChickenSaladChick.
I'm sure most the disappointed reviews here are because many of us genuinely enjoy our service at the restaurant, and were hoping for a comparable experience.
All I want to do with ChickenSaladChick is order my meal so that I can show up and it's ready, but it seems that you can only order catering sizes from it. It also sends far more push notifications than my other restaurant apps. Please just let me order lunch. That's all I want from your app.

Never once have I logged in without friction.
ChickenSaladChick will not let you paste your password from 1password. Doesn't matter because the password never works.

The ordering process is convoluted beyond reason. Seriously, hire a company that knows what its doing to develop ChickenSaladChick or fire the one you are xurrently using.

I have a $5 coupon to redeem and my wife was going to order. I was going to log her phone in with my login but the password didn't work. I have hundreds of passwords and accounts so it is not user error. Same password works fine on my laptop. Go figure. Tried four times on iOS. Zip.

Fine. We will use Apple login. Nope. Error.
I took a screenshot of my coupon BUT it has s 5 minute lifetime before it refreshes. Chick Salad Chick is 18 minutes away.

Food is great. ChickenSaladChick is awful.

iLove this restaurant & the food! But ChickenSaladChick is worthless! Everytime I arrive at one of CSC locations I am NOT able to access ChickenSaladChick , I ALWAYS receive the “server connection” error. So I can never redeem my hundreds of accumulated points because ChickenSaladChick just does not work while at CSC! I cannot place an order using ChickenSaladChick , which is another useless reason to have ChickenSaladChick . If ChickenSaladChick were updated and worked as advertised it would be a great app for a person such as myself, because I eat here at least twice a week.

Cannot scan receipt w/app!!! Help!!! I asked the employees at the new local restaurant that opened last week & they told me there is no other way to get credit for my purchase other than scanning with ChickenSaladChick , however, ChickenSaladChick won’t scan!!! It’s not my phone, I was able to scan another app for another purchase I made at another store this evening.

Also, it still stays that Double Points is “tomorrow”, so I was all excited, yet when I click on that, the date is back in September!!! ☹️

App is very confusing to use, hard to figure out how to order, especially when trying to order “the trio”. On several occasions, my coworkers and I have given up on using ChickenSaladChick to order ahead and have just placed our to-go orders once we arrive at the restaurant. Also, when ordering and paying from an app, ChickenSaladChick should be able to track your loyalty points. We shouldn’t have to enter info from our physical receipts as well. Apple Pay would also be a nice addition to ChickenSaladChick .

The ordering function on ChickenSaladChick just sends you to the website, which then does not remember the location you picked in your app profile. The customer support requires you to login separately, which doesn’t seem to be the same login you use for the rest of ChickenSaladChick . There’s really no point to using ChickenSaladChick instead of just going to the website.

The update that CSC released today made ChickenSaladChick SO much better! Love all the new features. Especially that I’m able to give my phone number and get my points automatically. CSC really turned ChickenSaladChick around!

I love Chicken Salad Chick, but ChickenSaladChick is terrible. It’s one of the worst food service apps that exists. It is not user friendly at all, to the point that I choose not to use it most of the time and just go through the drive thru. Redeeming rewards is extremely difficult, and it never automatically adds my points from a mobile order.

I am a long time CSC devotee (from its earliest days in Auburn)! Unfortunately, ChickenSaladChick is not very user friendly for online ordering specifically. Everything else seems to be decently laid out, but the online ordering was so hard and confusing that I gave up on using the service.

Ordering site is frustrating, doesn’t save and if you accidentally click out it clears everything out and you have to start over. Also if you order on ChickenSaladChick while logged in it should know and give you the points but it is separate and you still have to scan receipt. Love the food, wish app was better... seems like it should be so easy too

App does not work. Can NOT place online order with local location. Local location does not seem to know why and doesn’t even care that is does not work.

While we like Chicken Salad Chick food, my family has stopped getting any takeout from them. Perhaps when they have a working online ordering app we will reconsider but until then am uninstalling app and we discontinued CSC takeout.

Found out about this place when we visited our daughter. Delicious food and cute place! Love the variety. Just wish there were more locations and especially in the north where we live.

I had 150+ points. I went to ChickenSaladChick and it told me my session had expired so it made me sign in through google. No problem right? Except it made me update my profile and in doing so it reset my points to zero but gave me 25 points for signing up. But my old points are gone. Where are they? Love the food and employees but not ChickenSaladChick for taking away my points.

This has got to be one of the most frustrating apps I’ve ever used. I have sent multiple messages all just to find out why they have an email address of mine that was closed years ago and will not let me update it to my current one! NONE of my credits show up or can be used except the 25 points when I first downloaded ChickenSaladChick . Come on guys! The good is great but ChickenSaladChick bites! : /

ChickenSaladChick is so not held to the same standard the restaurant is. Bluetooth should not be needed to scan receipts or get rewards. There are plenty of other apps that work it fine. Fix that and then I will change my rating. As far as the restaurant it gets a five star.

I loved ChickenSaladChick and loved earning points especially since I cater so much for my job. However suddenly it stopped working and I keep getting an error msg. At first the support team was great helping me. But then they said there was an update (which was months ago) and that’s the last I heard from anyone. They have ignored 3 emails now and just no longer care. Sadly will be deleting this now USELESS APP.

Im a CSC fan through & through! I like the convenience of scanning receipts to get my Rewards points, and they add up quickly! HOWEVER, the online ordering section is useless. It feels clunky, and all the menu items aren’t there. Where are the Little Chick meals? If we can’t order for the family, we can’t use it.
