Westminster Dog Show Reviews

Won’t live stream. Shows windows event time schedules. Okay. Windows that LOOK like they should open streaming for “Ring 1” “Ring 2” etc. These only open the Fox Sports Go App ( or WestminsterDogShow on WestminsterDogShow Store if you don’t already have it.) so I loaded the Fox Sports Go app. And returned to WestminsterDogShow ... Those windows still open the Fox sports Go app. Just WestminsterDogShow , no indication of how to stream a dog show event. I admit that I’m not a sports fan so usually don’t go to any sports app. News Flash: knowledge of how to use sports apps is not “common knowledge” and my advanced degree in Literature doesn’t help. YOU might be able to use WestminsterDogShow.... I sure can’t. Useless.

Most normal Westminster viewing (best in group(s) for example) Not available in WestminsterDogShow. So don’t plan to enjoy your normal Westminster pleasure watching here.

2 other points

1. AUDIO on the vids that are here, like Obedience and Agility trials, some judging, is either Absent entirely, or unintelligible if offered.

2. Westminster locked up the dog show behind a Fox Sport paywall these past two years. Kudos on your need for greed, but very frustrating & Regrettable on our behalf, & possibly a huge loss in viewers.

We’ve enjoyed it for years, but no more. Also, deleting this pretty much useless, for general public, app.

Love WestminsterDogShow for the schedule, the live feed, including breed, group, and also agility! Especially use quick reference for each breed all year - but the pics this year are flanked by a grayish border so not as big as previous years. Please give the pics FULL width, they are already so small on a phone. Compare with 2017 app to see better pics.

Thank you for making WestminsterDogShow. It is not perfect, but at least I can see what is going on. Comes on perfect on my phone, just a little blurry on my tv. Rather watch on my phone while child entertain on tv. 😊🙌🏻

Perhaps it’s just need for personnel but updating of winners is super slow on certain breeds. Also, would be nice to have the judging program integrated into the site. Or a link to the judging program. For example pembroke welsh corgis showed on Sunday yet results were not up on Monday.

I like the link from the name to the specifics of the dog in the breed results section. Would also appreciate if there is an agent listed for the dog, that it be displayed on the page with the owner and breeders.

On my Ipad WestminsterDogShow locks itself into portrait mode. It needs an update to enable landscape. Other than that, the video ran smoothly and you're able to watch entire Best of Breed judging from the previous year.

It is disappointing that not all breeds are represented in the videos.

I downloaded and deleted and then downloaded again, for a total of 4 times AND IT STILL DIDN'T WORK. I could never get Breed Results, or Group Results, Agility Results!!!! I've used each years app for viewing in the past with no problems. I hope you get it right NEXT year.

Awkward app, especially if you are trying to stream something. Claims of streaming on WestminsterDogShow seem to be false, I never did find anything streaming on it. Sends you to other apps like Fox Sports but there seems to be no connection between the two apps.

Requires use of Fox Sports Go, which is only an option if you HAVE Fox Sports Go. If you don’t use a pay-for cable service, you can’t get Fox Sports Go stream of the show. Ridiculous.

Ridiculous. The live streaming is a joke. I already have Fox Sports Go but whenever I try to live stream a ring to see breed judging it tells me to download that app. And nothing comes up for any ring. Epic fail by WKC.

Great app in theory (and in the past), but this year only useful for getting ring times.

Why are they listing 2018 data for entries and breed results???

Come on, guys, pull it together.

App does not work in iPad. No option for streaming. Been working on this for an hour. Also does not worK on Fox Sports.

It’s disappointing that such a prestigious organization has created such a piss poor application. While it looks slick, this thing lacks content. Wouldn’t it be nice if they publish the judging program in WestminsterDogShow so folks could easily find when a breed is in the ring?

It was streaming something from January 24, 2020.
Found feed on YouTube but no info as to name of dog, time, etc.
