Great resource

Worked well. Good maps. Doesn’t have ALL the trails and stops but still a great resource that can be downloaded before hand for offline mode. Make sure it finishes downloading though in the settings.

Would have liked there to be a little more information about each stop but I don’t think it’s meant to be a comprehensive guide. It could be though and I might even pay for it if it was that good and with more photos.

Otherwise a 5-star for convenience and exceeding expectations.

Not Working

I just downloaded NPSGrandTetonNationalPark , and even all the content to use offline. However, the home page buttons are blank. You can click on them and they will open another page, such as “Things to see.” However, you can’t tell what a button goes to, because they are all blank.

I went to the maps and was going to download the maps for offline use. I found that you can download a couple maps for free. Otherwise you must subscribe to download them and use for a limited time period. The park map with icons for various attractions didn’t work. Clicking on the map icons did nothing, even after content was downloaded.

With these limitations, I don’t find NPSGrandTetonNationalPark as useful as it should be.

A lifesaver!

If you are visiting the Tetons, get NPSGrandTetonNationalPark! In the park there are many areas where there’s no cell service, but by downloading all the content beforehand, you can still access maps, trails, tour info, and more! This was a lifesaver for our family. I actually paid for another app, but we used this one.

Great to have the offline map

I love NPSGrandTetonNationalPark. It was great to have the map on my phone, especially when snow shoeing. We could not see the trail but with the map we could find our way back to the trail and to the car. Really useful! I'm hoping every national park will have such an app

Maps won't download

Love NPSGrandTetonNationalPark and want to download offline content but the map tiles won't download. I left it running for close to 10 hours on wireless and it only got about halfway through. When you cancel you lose everything and have to start all over again. Downloaded the Yellowstone content very quickly, but the Tetons app must gave a glitch. Would be great if someone could look into it. Thanks.

App Works Great; Live the Contents

Love NPSGrandTetonNationalPark .

Great pictures.

What to see is a great gift for ideas on the best things to see. Ask three other sections have great pictures and contents.

Offline map download

I’m planning a trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons this summer and wanted to start planning. I didn’t have any problem with the Yellowstone app downloading for offline but the Teton map won’t load offline at all.

Handy for planning visit to GTNP

Not the most intuitive but useful for planning your visit to Grand Teton NP.

Can’t download the map!

Where's the maps? I’m plugged in, using an iPhone 10 with strong WiFi.....Maps don’t download

Cannot Download Map for Offline Use

Cannot Download Map for Offline Use. Not really useful if I can’t do that.

Map won’t download

Map won’t download. Yellowstone app works perfectly.

Offline maps download is too big

While staying in Wyoming, I found it difficult to get very much internet access. This made it difficult to download the map tiles for offline viewing of the park map.

I did my best to download it over cellular, I even ran it overnight on 4G with auto-lock off. It only got though half of the map tiles download.

Please make this download smaller for park newcomers. To NPSGrandTetonNationalPark developers: perhaps it would be best to do a vector map instead of image-based? It would use WAY less data to reconstruct the same map.

Offline Maps Didn't work

I too had problems downloading the maps despite multiple tries. The maps are apparently huge. I had my phone plugged in and running all night and the map tiles got stuck at 26048 of 26086. Very frustrating. Besides the insane size the only way NPSGrandTetonNationalPark can download them is to start over, not just continue with the missing tiles. I'll give it another try from scratch perhaps tonight but I'm not hopeful. This feature is very buggy at best.

Grand Teton Heaven

In preparation for my trip in September I've been using NPSGrandTetonNationalPark to keep track of weather, fire alerts and trail updates. All details such as maps, activities for any given day, tours etc. are all easy to find. Can't wait to get there and enjoy the beauty.

Get it.

If you're heading to Grand Teton, download NPSGrandTetonNationalPark, connect to wifi, and download all the maps and everything so you can use them even when you don't have service.
