Instead of creating a map app like everyone else riding the D of ToTK release. How about you make a map app that actually works? How about actual descriptive locations? How about having locations actually be in the correct spot? And what’s with having to create an account to check off items?

Missed some caves positions, asks to log in to SAVE. Heck no.

MapGenie was amazing till it stopped working. Couldn’t mark anything I had found, after two days I decided to delete MapGenie and try logging back in now I can’t log back in. It’s not an incorrect username name or password because I am not even given the option to type those in. Just can’t login.

Developer: i do appreciate the work you put into MapGenie. I even purchased the Pro version. I do have some feedback for you:

You need a feedback / report issues link within your app so users can report missing items to you.

Also, the map should boot up to a blank selection screen, or boot up to the end-user’s saved selections instead of everything being selected automatically.

Lastly, I did not see splash fruit locations in the selections. Can this be added?

I will adjust my review once these issues are corrected. Thank you.

Attempted to reset my map of all marked locations, couldn’t figure out how to do it. After researching, it’s under account settings in the progress tracker…except there is no access to account settings. No button for it, can’t do anything. So I decide to delete and remake my account. I do have a ‘delete account’ button, but it also doesn’t work. It takes me to an ‘account page’ that doesn’t let me delete the account. It only lets me reset password and email and to upgrade membership. That’s it. No account deletion is possible. So since I can’t reset my map nor delete my account, I’m going to be deleting MapGenie.
There is also no way of contacting support to help with addressing my issues.

It's a good app in design. It performs well and I don't have complaints about visual appeal.

I do however find it odd that there's a limit to how much I can mark found before it's hinted that I pay. It doesn't seem to mention it at any point but eventually there's a message that'll say that something goofed and it's up to you to figure out you have to pay.

Some things seem to be missing as well. There's the Misko's treasure filter that only has about 3 locations. There's also seemingly unnecessary stuff like the animals category (which is, again, incomplete) or... the other animals category. I already deleted MapGenie so I cant check if this is a goof on my side or if there's actually two of the same category. There's also a "province" filter that doesn't seem to be on the map but I could have marked it as found and I just couldn't see it.

Important stuff like shrines and light roots are complete though so if you only want those and not a thorough 100% clear then that's good. It was useful in that regard (even if I couldn't mark every lightroot as found)

I’ve paid for MapGenie to track stuff, which works fine. I have two problems with MapGenie .

1. MapGenie has the memory of a goldfish. If I leave MapGenie zoomed into a particular location, with a particular set of icons turned on, I don’t want it to reset, which it does if you switch to the web browser for a few minutes. It should be able to retain and restore current settings when unloaded from memory.

2. A small handful of shrines and caves are sloppily positioned.

Lately I have been having this issue where I can’t mark off locations for some reason. Every time I hit the Found button, I keep getting this error saying Failed to Mark Location. How can something have a issue with something as simple as checking off just one thing? And how can I fix this problem?

Just did not find it all that helpful. You can download a graphic map and just look at it.

The map works great. The problem is that I registered so I could save found locations but it will not let me log in. I just get a message that’s says “Couldn’t Log in :(“. I can log in from the website fine but not MapGenie . Have tried restarting multiple times.

Great app to track your items and ect but won’t let me mark stuff as found. I don’t know what is causing this but I assume that MapGenie just needs an update or something.

When I started using it I was looking for bubbul gems, and caves. So when I saw they didn’t have b gems as an option I just looked for caves it made it harder but still good. Also I think they should add what level the enemies are, like blue black silver white. That is it.

I love MapGenie. It may be choatic at first glance but it gives you a lot of information without having to pay. With that said. Just yesterday it started to fail to mark things down. It getting annoying and I wish I knew what to do to fix it.

This works great when you are using it. However, I am doing a second playthrough and it was very difficult figuring out how to reset your progress. Had to go to the actual website and then took a while to find it. Would be nice if the option was put in MapGenie .

Everthing a totk player would want except for what I was looking for witch is a fuse guid how much damage everything does fused and the special effects of those fuses other than that I couldn’t ask for anything else

I’ma keep it a buck if you need to grind certain parts of the game this is it better then what’s recommended by MapGenie Store

Outside of having to sign in on a website it is ok

Only complaint (and i’m seeing it all over,not just with them) old maps are not a separate item and just mixed with key items

I love how you can just choose what you want to see and it shows you cool and secret things and it has the 3 regions with the dungeons too

This is such a well-made app, and it is perfect for anyone looking for the divine helms and any other sort of armor 10 out of 10 great app!
