Here are some helpful workarounds that should work whenever MapGenie app keeps crashing or doesn't work as expected on your iPhone 14, 13,12,10,8,7,6, SE,XS,XR.

How to fix MapGenie app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the MapGenie app on iPhone
Update MapGenie app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall MapGenie iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix MapGenie on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve MapGenie network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, Goto "Settings" » "General" » "Reset" » "Reset Network Settings".
2. Enter your device passcode. Then confirm "Reset Network Settings".

Fix MapGenie not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent MapGenie app issues:

Force Stop the MapGenie App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click MapGenie app. » click "Force Stop".

Update MapGenie to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear MapGenie App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "MapGenie app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch MapGenie.

Fix MapGenie unable to contact server/ MapGenie internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click MapGenie » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got MapGenie » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch MapGenie on android.
