Dico Machtotz Status

The revise and augmented data of dico Machtotz, come mainly from Krikor Chahinian's and Haroutioun Kurkdjian's dictionaries, printed in Beirut, Lebanon by the Chirak Publisher.  Purpose: Promote, the Armenian language in a multilingual Europe which protects minorities, cultures and languages.  You have the possibility of entering Armenian words in phonetic transliteration; you can look for a word in Armenian by writing it in Latin letters.  The dico Machtotz is a French-Western Armenian dictionary and vice-versa.  Up-dates and lexicographic corrections are carried out regularly (for free); you may also refresh your basic data as soon as a connection to the Internet is available.  It is equipped with both AZERTY and QWERTY Armenian keyboards.  It is the only dictionary of its kind in Apple Store.  We promote predominantly Western Armenian by enriching it in parallel with the evolution of other languages and as well as facilitating by any means, mostly electronic, its use by a wide audience.
