I did the same thing as the last reviewer and assume that when I paid for the premium that I was going to be able to browse patterns on here rather than trying to use them through my tiny Safari app on my phone. My mistake. Yeah I have to favorite stuff on the website to actually see it in CloseKnit so it really doesn’t fit my actual needs.

Really wish I had read the reviews first to find out I couldn’t even actually access the patterns on CloseKnit which was the whole reason why I wanted to download in the first place. Thought I had to pay money for that feature so I did... uhhh 😅 thanks for nothing then! CloseKnit is literally useless. There’s no reason to view favourites in an app without being able to then access the pattern.

I’m confused how this has a 4 star rating when all I’ve seen are mostly 1 star in the reviews. First, CloseKnit hasn’t been updated for 2 years. Second, Ravelry functions nicely in Safari and it is free. If CloseKnit seemed to function properly and smoothly, I’d consider paying a one time fee but a monthly or yearly fee for this service that is free in your browser, this just seems like a rip off.

I was hoping I could connect to patterns I had saved on Ravelry but all you can do is see things you favored on Ravelry but can’t seem to get to the pattern. I hoped to save myself an extra step to get to the pattern. Wish I could get money back. I knew within 5 minutes of downloading CloseKnit and paying for it that this was going to essentially be useless to me.

Wish I could get my money back. I thought this would be like Pinterest specifically for knitting and crocheting. I’m not sure how this helps with anything as I can’t even get to patterns. Why do I want to organize just pictures? Less that 24 hours in and I’ve made sure I don’t get pulled into auto renewal.

Thought I could pull patterns nothing like that. Basically a wanna be social media app to post project updates. Can’t even view the patterns I favorited in the website. This is ridiculous and what’s the point of charging people for?!?! Scammers and false advertisement.

This is basically a spy on your Ravelry friends’ updates app... nothing more. No patterns, no library, no notebook. You can’t even open your favorite list without making a purchase. You’re better off using the website

It's already a limited view of Ravelry based on the description. If it did everything it said in the description, I would give a better rating. But, you can't see favorites without an in-app purchase. Waste of bandwidth.

I got CloseKnit thinking I would get to have Raverly patterns at my fingertips. I was sorely mistaken. No patterns. Just pictures of patterns that you have favorited. So I paid for something I could have got free just by logging into Raverly. What a rip-off!

By that place that CloseKnit goes to I have no need to use it. It really was not much but a fast way to see my friends photos anyway.

The site is now full of hate.
So I will now be heading over to Fiberocity instead

Nothing I was hoping for which was ability to use ravelery in a meaningful way. Plus so far have not found way to unsub from it made mistake of going add free ???!!!
