It technically works. Needs improvement.

Login is slow, the loading of my cameras is slow, and when I go into my thermostat, it always says the current temperature is 73° even when it isn't, and always says that the "set temperature" is 80° when it isn't. So I always have to make changes directly to the thermostat on the wall, or when I'm not home, I have to make changes to the temperature and leave it that way for 5 minutes, before logging back in to change it back to what it always says the set temperature is. That then makes the A/C then work properly, but still never fixes the issue of TWCIntelligentHome always saying the "set temperature" and the "current temperature" are always both still saying 80° and 73°. Also, TWCIntelligentHome always has one of my cameras never load. The camera works just fine and always works on the touch screen and on the actual webpage but never in TWCIntelligentHome .

May 27, 2017 -TOO SLOW, LAGS IN PROCESSING

I have 4 cameras and TimeWarner/Spectrum's fastest internet and still have problems with delays in utilizing TWCIntelligentHome. When the alarm is activated I am supposed to be able to see freeze frames of who the intruder is for my safety/knowledge to file charges if I have a picture to prosecute. This system/app is SO SLOW that by the time the alarm is set off the intruder would almost always be inside the home and pictures that are suppose to be active with a few seconds before and during show only my trees blowing at the door/poo t of entry. Very frustrating that at least before I had a glimpse now not even the shadow of a silhouette. This does not make me feel safe when home alone. Luckily it has been a family member who may have forgotten to disarm the alarm, but when you don't know it can be scary. I would not recommend this company or it's app. I am currently looking, just hate that I've already invested in these expensive security cameras for surveillance...but looking for better company.

Arming & Loading Issues

TWCIntelligentHome takes a while to load the cameras. It also seems to pause when arming system from app. When outside the home, app doesn’t connect to the wireless as quickly as it should. We have to wait about 5 minutes to arm the house...usually when we’re riding down the street. The touchpad is fine and mostly stays synced with the system. TWCIntelligentHome seems to need more time and attempts to sync to system. The Spectrum modem seems to slow down which is why app doesn’t sync like it should. Other than those issues, TWCIntelligentHome is fine. I do like the new interface since the update.

Apps amazing

I love this thing I synced it with my phone so I don’t always hav Roy login.. can open TWCIntelligentHome right away and pull up my cameras, history log, thermostat. It’s made controlling the environment for the kids super easy to control.. bc 2 kids under 2.... if ur a parent u will know lol .. and I can also create rules that record when triggered helps me keep track of who goes in and out after dark lol.... I love App... hope new updates kick out for it to make it easy to delete images once over the limit.

Very Reliable !

I wish all 3 cameras would show on the screen at the same size as when one is highlighted, or at least fill the screen equally. Every once in a while, I have to try to disarm twice, but overall it works 99.9% of the time correctly. I would ‘like’ to have another camera or two, but for $150, it’s too much. I would not feel as comfortable as I do without this system, especially when I am out of town... being on the ‘edge’ of a less desirable part of the city, overall. Overall, 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ !!!

P.S. To those who claim their system is not reliable, or it will not do this or that, I believe that they just are unaware of how to program the cameras they say will not take pictures. You CAN tell them what to do, and when... if you take the time to learn about how it works !

Works as advertised

App works great. Does everything I need. For those with complaints on cameras or speeds keep in mind if you are on WiFi with your phone it could be a bad WiFi connection and if you are on your cell it’s going to use your phone so if you have junk reception it’s your phone. I noticed a few comments on cameras loading slow also- once again if your WiFi has been reception or your cell it’s obv not going to load fast.

Satisfied

There are some improvements that could be made but overall this is a good app. My favorite part is being able to set my alarm away from home. I am a grandmother raising two of my own grandchildren and often times I'm in a hurry when I leave in the morning and I can't remember if I locked the door or not so being able to set the alarm from anywhere is a real lifesaver for me.

Irritating cameras

I use TWCIntelligentHome several times a day to watch my dog when she goes outside. It takes forever for the cameras to connect. Once connected if I click on a camera and make it full screen, the system boots me out. This happens 3-5 times before it will remain connected to the camera. Also sometimes the camera doesn’t connect at all; it just circles around. At those times I have to log out then log back in. Frustrating.

Almost satisfied!

Overall, TWCIntelligentHome is provides a sense of security. However, from time to time, one of the outdoor cameras takes forever to "calculate the route". It often times out before I can view what I want to see. When everything works, it's a very handy app.

Log in to slow

I've had TWCIntelligentHome for over a year and the improvements have been nice but the last update made the log in slow among other issues. Takes minutes to log in and sometimes it doesn't perform the log in task. Sometimes when I try to activate the alarm Or thermostat it gives a fail notice stating TWCIntelligentHome needs to restart an error occurred. Stability on the previous version was 100 times better, I hope the developers fix this.

Multiple issues

I have reported multiple bugs with TWCIntelligentHome not reflecting status shown on the system touchscreen. After receiving no feedback or resolution, I call back every month and promised an escalation or actual resolution, and a call back within a week or so. IF the call back happens, the agent calling has no notes or memos as to why they are calling me, and the issue is reported all over again. Has been continuing for over a year now.

Don’t get IntelligentHome

The alarm part works fairly well, however it is nearly impossible to control the thermostats. Spectrum has tried repeatedly to get the thermostat to respond but admits the system is flawed. Terrible company to work with. Get a Nest or any other product. Also, the IntelligentHome thermostats are not programmable. Ie, you cannot have them come on at 7:00 each morning and go off two hours later. It must be done manually at the thermostat.

Log in and technical issues

Is a great app. Just needs to work on not allowing to log in due to technical difficulties with server. Also there shouldn’t be a limit of alerts/messages you receive about your security system

Convenient App

I like it and it helps me to set the alarm in my car when I am leaving the garage . Also to turn the alarm off before I need to go into the house. My sons have their own personal code,It works for us and is convenient to use.

Convenient and Reaauring

We have been very pleased with TWCIntelligentHome, especially the ability to arm and disarm the alarm system remotely to let our cleaning service in and out while we’re away.
