easyPDF - PDF to Word Reviews

So I've only given it 3 stars and here's why. First it's truely free (no in app purchase or any last minute gotchas). Secondly, it does just an "OK" conversion. None of the text that is in the PDF is truely able to be edited or searched in Word as it traslates the image of the PDF to a WORD document fromat and does not translate the words just merely the way it looks. So it's not really useful if you are trying to convert PDF document word for word and make changes to the document in Word to it. The conversion is pretty speedy. Thirdly the interface is kinda clugey at best. The "round about methods" that you have to use to retrieve the document and save the converted document are not convenient. This is 2016 there are better ways at getting the information in and out of the converter. As apps go...It's just OK. Not the worst and not the best. You pay for what you get.

I needed to do a mail merge, but only had a PDF of the form. Went online and found tons of websites that would charge you for creating a doc from a pdf, but I’m skeptical since I’ve been disappointed in the past with the quality only after having paid for a service such as this. Decided to search for an app and found this free one, so gave it a go! It allowed me convert to the complex PDF to an editable Docx file in minutes and didn’t screw up any of the boxes or info! Amazing! I could then do the mail merge with an excel file, saving me hours of handwriting in names and info! Very pleased.

I am a student who needed to convert a textual study guide from a PDF to a Word document on an iPad Pro so that I could edit the study guide’s text. This application worked like a charm! I was surprised when it instantly converted roughly 40 pages of text (in PDF format) to a Word Document. I was able to easily open and save the document in Word after converting it. Everything is now editable in Word—including the headnotes and footnotes. I never write reviews, but this application just saved me about 20 hours of work re-writing a study guide, so it seems worth the five minutes to thank easyPDF developers!

I was down to the wire, needing changes made to a document that I no longer had the original to. I tried numerous other apps that didn't "recognize" the text nor get me any where near an editable version of the PDF. this app was exactly what I needed and worked amazingly easy, and quicker than I would have ever hoped! Just click on the PDF (mine was an attachment to an email), choose to send to this app, then choose to open in Word. It was converted in the exact same format, in mere seconds! Edit, save, and converted back to a PDF with one more click! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This little app does just what its name suggests. There are a lot of apps with so many bells and wistles you're not sure if you want to hear the bell or the whistle first. Furthermore, a lot of them charge to convert the full document. This one is simple, and, more for my benefit as a blind IPhone user, very accessible with Voiceover. I got the doc I wanted to convert within seconds, literally, of uploading it to easyPDF and this was a 300 page ebook. So, thanks, this time, for silencing the bells and whistles, my ears were hurting after looking at other apps.

I truly picked yours because I saw an honest review giving you like a 3 stars and basically stating it worked, so I downloaded it did what your instructions said and in basically 30 secs I had it converted on my iPhone 10X got a little nervous because I only saw 1 page and figured you got me so, I airdropped it to my iMac and WOW TOTALLY 100% !!!!

I had a heck of a time trying to find an app that would convert my Resume on Word to a PDF. easyPDF really was so easy to do so. It took me less than 1 minute and easyPDF literally walked me through all 3 steps it took to get it converted. Such an easy app to use, it also makes the newly converted PDF doc easy to find on your iPhone once converted. Definitely recommend easyPDF for those who need to quickly and easier convert documents from Word to PDF.

easyPDF is very useful and it has helped me be able to edit documents that were PDFs by changing them to word documents. I have had very few instances (if any at all) where it messed up the formatting on the new word document, and easyPDF is very helpful and I highly recommend everyone to get it.

I was expecting a complicated interface, however easyPDF is super simple to use. I quickly converted PDF worksheets into word docs and then were able to save or send them directly from easyPDF . How much easier can it get?! I highly recommend and will be using it often!

easyPDF perfectly converted my resume from PDF to Word so I could update it. (I couldn't located my original raw, Word file to work from.) I thought it was hopeless after first trying other conversion apps -- as other reviewers mentioned they require an hour wait unless you want to pay a fee. Get easyPDF!!!! (Ps. I rarely take the time to write reviews--this probably my third, ever.)

I converted a PDF file that contained text and images to a DOC file very easily, quickly, and with no problems. Unlike other free PDF to DOC apps that I've tried, this one does not make me wait a while for the conversion to go through, it was done immediately. Also, no text or images were messed up after the conversion.

easyPDF would not convert an important DOC from PDF to WORD as it stated the document was too large and needed to be under 10Meg in size. Another wasted moment of my time downloading and installing easyPDF only to find out after the fact easyPDF would not convert the file due to a simple thing as size on my iPad Pro. Perhaps this is a limit set by the developer or an iOS limitation, either way it should state this in easyPDF description clearly as many PDF's that people will convert may be over 10Mb.

I’ve been trying to find an app to do the easy task of converting a docs to pdf... easyPDF also has informative tutorial and has a sleek and simple design. I use it to create a library of docs my profs post in Camino. easyPDF has a quick convert function through the ‘send to’ button. Amazing app! Don’t know why it’s not 5 star

Not a lot of bells and whistles but does the basics superbly. And the price is right. Was going to install a similar program on my Mac but it would have cost a pretty penny. Since programs are less expensive on mobile devices, I tried easyPDF. The program converts graphics almost perfectly, which most other apps can't.

easyPDF is perfect. Others like it charge for conversions or easyPDF it self. This one is free and does the job just as well. The only error i had was a few bullets not formatting correctly, which took 30 seconds to fix. Overall a great app for anyone who uses their device for work

This could not have been any easier to download and use to convert a PDF doc to Word for editing. Saved me a lot of time in updating a lease agreement. Took me only seconds instead of an hour to find the lease agreement online, download, and input all the information again. And so far, it's really free. Thanks!

There was an urgent need to help a person edit a PDF document, but he only had a Word file editor and this PDF document didn’t want to be edited. He threw it to me in messenger and I quickly converted it and sent it back

To begin with, it’s free, that's one of the greatest values in our time. It can convert all of your files into pdf or word, wether it's .jpg, .heic. .pdf, .docx or any other format (as so did I experienced so far). In other words, it's an essential asset for office work!

I used easyPDF. What i want to say...it is really very usefull and Free! You can download PDF files from Viber, phone memory or mail - export it in Word and download back wherever you want. The text exported to Word is perfectly error-free!

With so many apps out there that try to deceive you into spending money, It is so refreshing to get one that gives more then expected. It works beautifully and is so simple to use.
