Made a call merged as instructed to record.
Recording was saved but does not allow for playback or editing. Just gives me a spinning circle and nothing happens.

Don’t use CallRecorderCallAnswer! It’s completely useless. I went through all the hassle of recording calls I needed and they are unable to be played back. There is zero support from the developers to help with the situation. If you need the recordings do yourself a favor and use a different app otherwise you’ll end up screwed.

I had tried another app that only recorded when I called someone. This one was so much easier and would record either way- if someone else called. There is a beep that lets you know recording has begun - if the person is already on the line. I was doing interviews for an article. I was so pleased when an unexpected translation popped up! Amazing app!

In the past, I have tried taking notes for calls I have with clients and doctors. Invariably, something important gets missed. I have used CallRecorderCallAnswer on a dozen incoming and outgoing call, both direct and via a conference bridge and it works great. Getting the operation right took a few tries when my contacts list came up instead of a keypad, but after using CallRecorderCallAnswer 2-3 times, it is quite natural. I have recorded hour long calls with no problem and can go back later to focus on something that came up in passing I would have missed. All in all, a very handy tool!
