This widget can control volume, pause/play, fast forward, and rewind only. It starts playing wherever iTunes e.g. has been left idle, or already started. IMO this limits its utility. Should be great for a situation where you have queued up content or have a playlist ready to go or running. But if you want to change the song,album, playlist etc you will need to dive deeper into your phone to use Remote, or use the Mac it's paired with to choose what you are listening to.
Great for volume adjustment or starting stopping content but can't choose content or what you want to listen to next.

I paired my phone with my laptop and couldn’t get TodayRemote to work. Became so frustrated I went to delete TodayRemote from my phone and it finally opened and worked. FYI to everyone, if you just tap on TodayRemote icon on an iPhone it opens a menu only. But if you press down and hold firmly on the icon the volume control will open. Note to developer: please include this info in your instructions or fix the problem.

Until the latest updates, it was working perfectly on my 4S under 8.3. Upgrading the OS on the 4S renders it virtually useless. I understand the need to support newer hardware and software, it's just very unfortunate the decision was made to phase out the existing equipment and software that worked just fine. And yes, I happen to have a newer phone with the newest shiny iOS. I just don't believe in throwing out a piece of technology because it's old.

Wanted to control my OS X volume. Bit the bullet and purchased the full version to do so. It works, but really slowly and unreliably. To be fair, this might have something to do with the fact that I'm using Bluetooth speakers connected to OS X.

I tried to connect it to my Mac and the accept prompt would not come up. I bough pro to see if that might help and it still would not connect. Pro was very cheap but 100% not worth it. Not a good app, try a better one.

Where’s the widget for current iOS? Last update 2 years ago and doesn’t appear to work. Either dev needs to fix/update or Apple needs to pull from store to prevent DLC abuse - collecting $ for an app that doesn’t work as advertised.

Does everything except control iTunes (now Music App), which was the only thing I needed it for. It controls VLC just fine, just not the apple native music app.
Tech support is nonexistent.

This used to work great, but as soon as I upgraded to the new iPhone 13 mini it stopped working. It's a bummer as this was a GREAT way to control music for my patio setup.

Meh. Unlike other remote apps, there is no ability to browse through your media library. All you can do is skip, pause, and change volume.

Purchased app to remote into Vox. Unless your sitting at you computer to pull up songs/playlists (defeats the purpose of "remote") ... worthless.
