The most “current “ forecast video is from nine months ago??? Don’t waste your time with CBSPhillyWeather.

We have a summer cabin up in Tobyhanna in the Poconos. The temperature there is much different than the area around Philadelphia, usually 10-15 degrees cooler. The CBS Philly app shows the same exact forecast for Tobyhanna as it does for my home town near Philly. The default weather app provided on the iPhone shows it correctly. Reported this a year ago and it still isn’t fixed.

Now, with iOS 11 update, you CANNOT select “While Using” in location services and still get weather for your current location. Why? Every other weather app allows the user to choose “While Using” instead of “Always”. Why must they track me all the time and put additional work on my phone’s battery? I guess I’ll go back to Accuweather. Too bad—I really liked CBSPhillyWeather before that.

I love Channel 3 but CBSPhillyWeather is so outdated and unreliable. The video/forecast section hasn’t been updated in 3 months. The other forecast sections rarely match up to what they’re predicting on tv. And as someone else commented, it can take forever to load and boot you back out. CBSPhillyWeather used to be great, so disappointed in it now.

The models of rain, snow etc, and the weather warnings are fine, but it may help if they would update the videos. As of May 19th the last video that was uploaded was 4 months ago (IN JANUARY)

Since the last update, it is slow, times out, and has lost its location marker and town labels. Almost useless now. Bring back the old version please!!!!

When CBSPhillyWeather opens Katie Felinger is still pictured. She left CBS Philly over a year ago! Most of the videos are worthlessly old. I do like getting weather warning messages I get from Kate Bilo.

Why would you have a video section if you don’t have current ones??? The videos in there are from 16 months ago .... why bother having them or having a video section if they are over a year old ???? Plus the web section doesn’t work well at all. CBSPhillyWeather at this point is absolutely useless !!!!! Why have CBSPhillyWeather if it’s never updated !!?? Please fix CBSPhillyWeather and update it !!! I watch your weather on the tv during your news, please fix CBSPhillyWeather !!

I need to follow the weather very closely most of the time and had to use 2 apps to get what I get from this one. Reliable, accurate and easy to use. All it's missing is dew point and humidity readings

4 & 1/2 Stars.
Gives great forecasts with up-to-date weather report videos on the hour.
Everything loads very fast. Complete with local radar, weather alerts, weather news articles, and some other helpful videos.
Weak point: For an app titled "CBS Philly Weather" it should not be required to enter a central location upon first use, as IMO default setting should just be Philadelphia.

Does not set locations: stuck on central Philadelphia. Won't set to Delaware locations.
Settings panel says 'Feedback', but there is no connection to send anything back. Too limited still.

What happened to CBSPhillyWeather? It used to be fast and reliable. It takes forever to open and in some instances just times out back to the tile. I have the latest iPhone 10z
