It was 95 degrees Fahrenheit here today. The iPhone and Apple Watch apps were telling me it’s in the 60’s. The Apple TV app had it at 35. You’re kidding, right. And yes, I made sure the apps weren’t set to Centigrade. Give me a break.

I tried to use NextWeather but it couldn’t find my location. It listed Memphis in several states but not the largest Memphis, which is located in Tennessee. The find my location feature had me in a city at least two hours away.

Severely erroneous data such as temperature, with the right time and location, do not know if database not updating but cannot be relied upon

Just used NextWeather..stated temp was 62 and felt like 62.
Actually temp was 32 and felt 32.

Requested to update this review. Developers thought I may have mistaken my temperature measurement implying that i had my temp set for Celsius rather than Fahrenheit.

I live in the US and use Fahrenheit and would like to assure the developers that I was using the correct measurement system and that my location was accurate.

What I find comical is the question the developers proposed initially. It’s not as if the temperature reading in NextWeather was a tad off, it was entirely out of the ballpark. Even better is the observation that it was snowing outside and I was asked if I was reading C or F. I don’t know if physics works differently in other parts of the world but I have it on good faith that snow doesn’t fall when it’s 60 degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit.

App has a standard seven day forecast screen, which updates once every seven days. Basically useless.

It looks okay on the iPad, though there are much better options. On the AppleTV it has stopped updating. It’s currently 66 degrees Fahrenheit and cloudy. NextWeather , however, tells me that it’s 32 degrees Fahrenheit and *snowing*

I really do like the look of NextWeather. But it is extremely buggy. Right now it says “very heavy rain” and there isn’t a drop of rain in sight. Not sure where they are pulling their forecast data from, but it’s wrong. And this is the case more often than not. It’s just not reliable.

For Apple TV NextWeather needs to auto update. I’m not sure how to get it to update otherwise without forcing it to close and reopen it. This maybe why there are some comments about the weather data being wrong.

Otherwise it is a really great weather app for the Apple TV.

NextWeather doesn’t small towns in Calif. I use other apps, and they show the small towns that I want to see. I like NextWeather other than that.

I want to like NextWeather. I even paid to remove the ads and support the development. However, I have noticed that the data does not always update and I have had to try several "tricks" to try to force a refresh of the data because NextWeather doesn't have a native ability to allow the user to refresh the information.

I like NextWeather’s look and feel. And it has always worked well for me on AppleTV and iPad. But the one thing that irks me is the “No precipation expected” message. Please fix spelling: “precipation” should be “precipitation”.

This is my favorite weather app for my phone. It has beautiful, clean, and condensed weather at a glance. If NextWeather had Always Allow for location options it would be my goto Watch app as well.

I really like this weather app, and it clearly shows in detail the weather for 24 hours and next week, and it has graphs as well. That is quite unique! It is a must download weather app!!!

Finally a weather app that shows hourly
temp+wind speed+wind direction, etc.
all at a glance without searching through pages! Precise wind speed and direction are especially important in coastal locations, thank you!

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how often I turn to NextWeather to find the weather forecast. IMO, it dose a better job of showing the temperature and chance of rain at a given point in time than any of the other apps do. Well worth downloading.
