App worked fine for a bit on my iPhone then out of the blue crashes as soon as I attempt to open it. I see others also have the same issue I even contacted two admins both were useless and even tried emailing the apparent person who deals with keeping Nearby functioning, just like the other two idiots I didn't even get a reply. Crap app with no interest in keeping it functional for iPhones. The bug is well over six months old and I haven't even seen an attempt to address it. Can't even call this an app when it does nothing.

So not going to lie there are some decent people on Nearby but what really annoyed me was the fact that I cursed once on my recent post and they permanently suspended my account. I’m 15 and yet they don’t do anything when there are older men or women sexually harassing young teens on here 😒

So Nearby for iPhone was very limited, didn't let you see people's previous posts on their page and if they saw your message or not. Since the OS 9 update Nearby hasn't not opened once even tho I try to use it everyday. Once I click it a new page opens and closes without a second of access to Nearby . For an app to be considered an app it should do something. Nearby does not work at all now

There are other ways to verify a person. The social media conglomerate FB is not the only one. You need another way to use your app. Is your app useless without Facey pages?

Requires you to use Facebook to sign up. Instant delete.

Had Nearby a few years ago. Shame they changed to FB registration.

It's a decent idea, like any other social media program. If it is updated and bugs are fixed, it could be a very good app. A few bugs: can't get photo to upload via phone app and have it show up. Also on the website I am unable to connect to Facebook, I connect it and it doesn't say it's connected. Nearby is a bit glitchy but hope all will be fixed in time.

Please update on the ios devices . I rarely do anything on Nearby anymore I used to have droid but I switched, got Nearby and Nearby was whole lot better on my droid

This is one of the best out there. I have been using it on my Windows phone for a few months and I enjoy it. It is a great way to meet people whether they are near to you or far away. Now that it is iOS I have it on my iPad too. Try it you will like it.

I've really enjoyed meeting everyone I've met on WNM. If you download any social app this should be the one you install, it's like no other. I've never been one for social apps but this is much more than a social app, we're like a family. I just love it! My profile name is the same as this one so look for me, I'm on daily.

If you are stuck on the "Determining Location" screen, make sure your location services are turned on for Nearby . It won't work without it. Once inside it's a pretty basic app, with a world feed and messenger. I've made more than a few friends on Nearby, but the iOS version is by far the worst. You have to copy and paste emojis to use them in chat, you cannot send points or gifts. You cannot report or delete posts. And you have to scroll back to the top to move between the world feed and your watched posts. Over all, Nearby is awful. Giving five stars so my review will show at the top.

Very fun and addicting app. Each post and comment earns you points that you can use to buy gifts for your friends. You can talk to people from all over the world and those that are close by. Mods stay on to make sure everything is under control and users are more than happy to help with question. One user in particular loves casual messages with anyone that messages her. Jessica No Likey Dic loves random chat encounters from all guys though her name makes you think she doesn't. She uses that to see which guys are brave enough to talk to her and those who do never complain of the talks they have. This is definitely a must have app and she is definitely a user to hit up. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely awesome. The regulars are great, if you are in vegas and want to party you must meet up with 702. Watch out for Dante I hear he's investing in a candy van, or maybe just going to write on the side walk. Make sure you read profiles before you go messaging perv stuff otherwise you could land yourself on "To Catch A Creeper" on the feed. In other words be polite to the ladies. Oh and all you closet boys loving boys you want to hit ups Zer0 *StFu0g0* for sure, he is the very dominant type. I used to spend my days on Facebook, now I rarely go there and spend my days on the feed on WNM.
