I thought this program was a great start and easy to jump into. However, as I started setting up my own templates and interviews, I began to find that the features are lacking. There are also a number of extremely frustrating bugs which make it impossible to do things, or require you to do twice the amount of work to create your own work around. Examples:
It's great that you can create your own template questions, but you can import them from one interview to another. If you in advert entry set them up for one interview and not in a template, you cannot simply copy them to another interview, WHY NOT?!?
When you DO create your own template, there's a bug that causes it to override an existing template every single time you create a new template, in addition to creating a new one. That means your harming your existing question sets when creating new ones.
Anyway, good start, poor implementation. The Dropbox feature is nice.

Just what I was looking for to schedule and record interviews with my psych clients. I love that I am able to create a profile for each person with a picture. I can also create my own questions or select from lists of premade questions if I run out of ideas.

First off, I quite enjoy InterviewAssistant. As an amateur podcaster, it's nice having an app designed as a well rounded means of tracking interviews.
That said, it would be very nice if an at least rudimentary audio recording feature were included to cut down on the necessity of running multiple apps in the event my iPad is literally the only device on hand durning a conversation, or recorded Skype/FaceTime call.
Second, and more easily addressable, the provided range of questions is too narrow. The questions seem to only cover the fields of information technology and various fields of engineering. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but other fields and interests should really be given attention.
The ability to write one's own questions is, of course, a major saving grace, but still very time consuming. It would be worth considering a "submit question" option, when the dev team could then use to selectively crowd source the library.
