I've been using WPSDVR for three years now and it has always worked very well. From reading the other reviews, I believe the key was that I had a professional set up WPSDVR as well as the camera system itself. I give it only four stars because WPSDVR has not been updated since 2014 (Wirepath if you need someone to update WPSDVR , contact me. My son-in-law could probably do it in about an hour and a half 😉). I recently had a different professional add a new camera made by another manufacturer to the system and it works flawlessly with the old system and with WPSDVR.

WPSDVR is the most un user-friendly app I've ever used, and it NEVER works!! I feel like I literally have no control over my own home surveillance and that is just ridiculous. I should be able to change my password anytime I want without screwing up the entire system. We paid a lot of money for, what is my understanding, top-of-the-line equipment, yet it's all completely useless without WPSDVR ...WPSDVR that never works!! Not to mention that the few times it does work, I am never able to go back more than 12 hrs to review footage. Even though I purchased an additional external hard drive to backup data... Save your money people!!!!!

This is the very best app out for watching analog cameras from your mobile device! No I don't work for them either! All you people complaining, it's user error! Don't bash a company because you don't have your settings right! I install cameras every day and no other app will compare to WPSDVR!

We own a 5 year old smart home and have outdoor surveillance however WPSDVR only sometimes works. It actually stopped working altogether because the developer is not updating it to work with iOS updates. Extremely frustrating considering we added indoor surveillance by using VimTag do it yourself cameras and they consistently work.

Many people have depended on your app and trusted you to allow them to see their homes and businesses. Why have you not updated? Not only can droid users use WPSDVR , they can also zoom in for a closer look! This is ridiculous.

I also use SuperLivePro for another of my businesses. It has worked great. For anyone that needs another app and are able to switch. I will be calling my guys that install all of my cameras to see if we can switch this over as well.

App no longer connects and iOS 10 tells me it needs to be updated every time I launch it. Nice service people.

Update: the wirepath dynamic DNS no longer works. If you don't have a fixed IP from your ISP, go sign up for a free dynamic DNS account at no-ip. Enter that address in place of the wirepath address and it works.

That said, WPSDVR still needs to be updated for future compatibility with 64 bit only iOS 11.

Before iOS 11, this worked GREAT on all my apple devices. I found WPSDVR VERY valuable.
However, when updated (regret) to iOS 11, it won’t work and the alert says “developer must update”.
PLEASE update for us fools that have updated our apple products.

If you bought a wirepath security system, do what you can to return it. They care about their products basically as much as they care about WPSDVR . I got duped into buying this crap when I bought a new house by the contractor who did all the home alarm wiring. The amount I paid for these cameras could have bought a decent used vehicle. Save your time, buy one of those security systems in a box for 1/10th the price, I promise you it will perform better.

Your other apps crash upon attempting to launch cams. This one one connect despite countless attempts to re-enter data.

My cams are online. My port settings are open. I can connect away from home in a browser window but not on WPSDVR.

The only thing left is WPSDVR . Don't you think it's time for an update? Some of us spent a lot of money on your equipment and we'd like to be able to use it away from home.

Spent $2600 on my business camera system and can’t use it because the manufacturer hasn’t updated it. Very upset!!! Previous years it worked fine and gave me relief on my days off. I could check in and see if everything was set up.

You need to update WPSDVR. I can't even go back to look at past surveillance activity on my camera. This has been like this for the past year. WPSDVR needs to be fixed or updated for the iPad and iPhone 5, 6 and on. Also, a professional did install my cameras and did WPSDVR as well. Worked great 4 years ago but not anymore. Totally outdated!! Please update.

Have not been able to use any features of this system,(other than seeing camera views), since IOS system changes to Apple products. No updates!!! Everyone is complaining here yet no answers! Really? Expensive system sold to me, yet no IT support. Would never buy this system again. Poor updating and customer support.

Doesn't work for months after the last update. Keep getting an error message when trying to connect. Ridiculous after months of the latest release, along with numerous complaints of the issue still occurring, there still hasn't been a new update to fix the same issues everyone is having.

Hello, I have been using WPSDVR since 2014 with never any issues. Can you please notify us when WPSDVR will be updated so that IOS 11 users can continue to using it?

I updated to IOS 11 today and now WPSDVR doesn’t open and gives a message that says “ WPSDVR does not work with iOS 11. Contact WPSDVR developer to update”. Seeing as how they haven’t updated WPSDVR since 2014 I’m guessing they’re in no rush to fix this. If actually seeing your surveillance videos is important to you STAY AWAY.

WPSDVR has not been updated in a WHILE. If you can help it I recommend you DON'T purchase a Wirepath Camera. They don't care enough to satisfy their customers. WPSDVR constantly has to be uninstalled and reinstalled to get it working again. I will not purchase another Wirepath Camera again. Piece of junk! I wish I could give it a -5 rating.

App hasn't been updated in years. I had slow connecting issues in the past, but now I get "Connect Fail" every time when I'm away from home. At home on WiFi it connects fine, but that is not helpful because the primary reason for WPSDVR is to look at your cameras while away from home. Ugh.

I have been using these camera with WPSDVR for awhile, but WPSDVR hasn’t been updated for some time. I can no longer use it on my phone as it is not compatible with IOS11

Ever since my phone got updated with the latest software WPSDVR no longer works, it says it needs to be updated well guess what there are NO!! Updates available. What do you say about that!!?. If there was a minus star rate, I would give it a -5stars :(

I need to know how to get WPSDVR or if it will be updated to work with ios11 on my iPhone. I’ve used WPSDVR since inception and now have multiple cameras that do not function via iPhone app anymore. Any thought or wire path / luma please advise!!
