Been trying lots of apps that just don't quite put everything together. This one allows you to put in taxes, insurance, PMI, extra payments and present the data in an easy to visualize format.

One suggestion. Allow duplication of a saved scenario, then allow edits. Unless I missed something, I had to re-enter tax, insurance and PMI for each new payoff scenario that I created.

Been using that app for a few years and liked it a lot. But in the last several months, there’s been to many malfunctions: breakdown view no longer available, and when creating a new mortgage scenario the math doesn’t add up.

I can't say enough good things about MortgageCalculator. It allows me to enter all my one time additional payments and my monthly over payments that have changed over time. I setup different payment scenarios and was able to overlay them on the same chart. MortgageCalculator is exactly was I was looking for.

I had one crash when I started with MortgageCalculator but none after that so far using it for a couple hours. I like the ability to compare and tweak and compare some more. Best app for mortgage shopping I’ve seen so far.

Easy to use. While you can add to your payment it doesn't allow for making a half payment twice a month. I think this knocks 7 years off of a 30 yr mortgage. I would like to see that added.
But it is well worth the money.

MortgageCalculator makes you realize how much money a mortgage actually cost you. MortgageCalculator has saved me thousands of dollars. It’s fun to see how much interest can be saved with extra payments.

This is great to compare refinance options and see the impact of making additional principal payments toward goals. Definitely shows you visually the amortization breakout.

Accurate, allows editing when needed, the projections allow me to know when I’m paying off my house along with interest rate costs

I use several of this developer’s apps and they are all feature rich and intuitive. Frequent updates and application support.

Not a lot of features, but quickly gets to the root of cals needed. I like it for its speed and it remembers my work.

Update Aug 22: I wish it would reach across all my platforms.

Would be nice to Nice to be able to show impact of a balloon payoff at a future year.

Would be nice to have a feature to incorporate the cost of an outside loan. Like the cost of debt for a down payment.

Better than other apps. Straightforward data entry and gives all accurate calculations that match the bank’s.

I simply want to know what extra payments on my mortgage would do for me, in yearly and monetarily, I inputted everything it asked for + the extra payment and it tells me nothing !
Waste of money !
I don’t want to be a finance major, I want a simple to use calculator that will show me graphically and otherwise what extra payments will do for me, apparently this is Not It !

I have tried most of the mortgage apps for IOS and this one gives you more flexibility with your payoff strategies.

Not that great if you already have a loan. Only useful if you are looking at a new mortgage. I refinance my house 2 years ago and tried applying the info to MortgageCalculator and it would not compute correctly. I just wanted info on a payoff data, total interest paid, etc but could not get it to work.

Good app for tracking mortgage details as well as simulation of early payoff effects on overall interest etc.

I love MortgageCalculator! It has everything I need for loans, and trust me, I had tried to get all this info out of Excel. This is clean, easy to use, and thorough! Good job, developer!

Totally worth it! You can make tweaks to your loan info and see how quickly you will pay off your loan.
