Used to be great

I can’t even load many of the websites I need to do business on because the web browser is out of date. I haven’t seen any reviews on this and hopefully I can get support back from the developer. Don’t buy this unless your just looking for a web browser to do simple tasks (which it clearly is struggling with)

What is going on with this app??

I have had CloudBrowse for about 5 years..I would say the last couple months either I can't get on or I get an untrusted alert. I can't understand what is happening. Like I said it worked fantastic up until the last two month.

Ouch

First I’m charged 2.99 than the browser doesn’t even work properly. Even if it did you have to pay again to continue using CloudBrowse . 👎Two thumbs down👎 Would like refund.

Garbage, do not install

I bought this quite awhile ago and it just gets worse and worse. Not even usable and they want to scam you into paying a fee.

Waste

It worked the first couple times, but never again have I been able to do anything on it. The idea is good, but it doesn’t work.

SCAM! DON’T BUY!!! WON’T WORK AT ALL!

CloudBrowse use to be great but it’s a waste of money because of an immediate notification that pops up and says “failed to register device” and won’t let you click anything. NOTE TO DEVELOPERS: PLEASE FIX CloudBrowse , OR GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!

PS: I’m on iOS 11.2.6 on iPhone X

DONT DOWNLOAD

CloudBrowse is absolute garbage save your money because they’re gonna charge you for a subscription to even use CloudBrowse , I wish I could get a refund 👎👎👎👎

Working fine in IOS 11

The updated Cloud Browse works great in IOS 11 ^ ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ ^

Cloud Browse

Doesn’t work at all. Keeps restarting I want a refund

Scam

Buyer beware. App is a scam and will not work.

Scam

Scam Scam Scam!!! Don’t Buy this!!!!

What They Don't Tell You

There is 1 word that describes the purpose of CloudBrowse, GREED! You buy CloudBrowse and then are roped into a MONTHLY membership fee to use it beyond what they call 10 minutes, at which time you are disconnected from their servers. I say what they call 10 minutes because I've been dropped up to 4 times in one 10 minute segment. To keep browsing you have to reconnect and retype where you were as history is wiped out.

CloudBrowse requires you go through their servers to view web sites. The speed is much like a 56K dial-up modem. If you're old enough to remember what that's like you know to pass CloudBrowse to those with more money than brains.

There are several other apps out there that will show what Apple will not, without having to pay a monthly membership. They are faster and keep a history and bookmarks if you want them. Some even offer secure and private browsing!

In a nutshell, it's painfully slow, way too expensive in comparison to much better apps, forget drop down menu selections as it doesn't work, and don't believe for a minute all the Facebook "likes" since you are forced to "like" it in order to get support. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with CloudBrowse! Better yet, as a consumer, let them know we will not be nickel and dimed to death after buying their app by renting bandwidth from their slow servers!

Does What It Promises

As you wade through the negative reviews for CloudBrowse, note the following: it does exactly what it says it does. I installed CloudBrowse yesterday and, sure enough, it became the first iOS-based browser that allowed me to access the features of a site that uses JAVA. That being said, CloudBrowse provides a virtual browsing experience, very much like using an app for connecting to and controlling your desktop computer. This means that it is not as fast as native browsing and there are some quirks to get used to to carry out commands that you would use the keyboard for on a computer.

What I think has purchasers of this useful application hopping mad (and why I have given it only four stars) is the awful business model: drop $2.99 for "free" access -- this is access only if paid subscribers haven't maxed out the server, a reduced speed, a maximum of 10 minutes, and without any ability to save passwords, bookmarks, etc. If you want priority access, more speed, and the ability to save data, you'll have to drop $5 or $6/mo. for a subscription. I hate this business model as much as any of the other reviewers. I would rather just plunk down, say, $30 for an app than be dinged every month. The folks at Always On Technologies are not going to build any loyalty this way. I, for one, will surely switch to a competitor, as soon as there is one. For now, though, Cloud Browse is the only game in town and I have no regrets about purchasing it.

If you need to access Flash driven sites, this is the app that helps

It is not high speed, but gets the job done. CloudBrowse let me get to some of my Facebook connected apps and Flash driven web pages while away from home on my Itouch, Iphone and Ipad. I travel and go camping, and hate that Apple limits me with flash driven pages. I cannot control them and am relieved someone found a way around. They are still working out the kinks, and it does drop the connection and have issues with logins, but what do I want for free? I can get in and see to my needs and log out.

I have not tried the pay for it upgrade connection. but you can pay and apparently that will help you stay on and not get kicked off. I have not seen a difference yet between my experience and those comments from people who have paid but with a little more upgrading I will definately pay for the additional access.

If you keep in mind it is in it's beginning, that Apple has made this necessary in the first place with it's control issues and arrogance, and that this is free - what you get is a bandaid for connection to your pages in a pinch. It is free - try it and see if it is what you need for your uses, delete it if it is not, what will you lose?

The best out there so far

I needed an app that would allow my kids to access their online learning programs that use flash/java (spelling city, time4learning, Veritas press self paced history). I tried about 5 other flash apps and this is the ONLY one that works with video, sound, and most interactive games. I did sign up for the premium membership - the other levels were just way too slow. Even the premium membership has a bit of a delay. It is not perfect and does take some getting used to. Sometimes it cuts off a small portion of the screen. We had to reset the browser a few times, and it has crashed as others have said when we first started using it. It has been about a month and I think we have figured out how to deal with the little glitches. We haven't had any problems with crashing, etc. in the past two weeks. If you really need to access flash players on your iPad, this is the best app I have found - just don't expect things to be exactly the same as when you access them on your computer.
