Too many too frequent too long ads for unusable garbage

Every 2-3 door bells and a 1 minute ad. Don’t waste your time downloading FakeABell.

When I first opened FakeABell it immediately popped up a 30 second ad.
I deleted FakeABell . Experience tells me if it starts that way, it will stay that way with a lot of pop up long ads.
Then I read the other reviews about all of the ads.
I moved on to the next doorbell app. Which has pop ups, but not timed. You can X out of them.

For a single doorbell noise, you get a thirty second ad. If you’re trying to fool your dog into thinking someone rang the doorbell, casino noises immediately blaring from your phone ruin any possible realism.

I got this from antfarm. It's good, but it needs more sounds. Also I does not freak my dog out when I push the bell. And it should have a way to time it so you can put the phone down. I got this so I could make my bro go to the door and realise there is no one there. He knows now because I rang it and he did not get up. He went to me and saw that I did it. You need to be able to time it and put the phone down. For that I give it three stars.

Put some feature that allows you to time the rings. So that you can leave your phone elsewhere and let it ring on its own.

What can I say? In a crowded market of fake doorbell apps this has emerged as the clear leader. I can’t speak highly enough of it’s fine audiophonics or perfect timing. The perfect Christmas gift for any fake doorbell enthusiast.

This a pretty okay app. There’s nothing wrong with it. For all of the times that I’ve been on FakeABell surprisingly no long ads have shown up like people have said that they’ve would. I loved the most about it was tricking my dog with the doorbell sounds!

I am a dog trainer. One of the things I teach is “place” training. Someone knocks on the door or rings the bell, you train your dog to go to their “place (a tubber backed mat) and remain there until your guests come in. We use the door bell app to teach them not to react to the door bell.

1 year ago today I met my soon-to-be husband through xhub. I’ve used tinder and bumble and the best matches I got were through xhub. Met some great men including my love. Grateful for the $25 of however much it was as it helped me meet new people. I had really positive dates through xhub overall. It’s a good app

I use it in therapy with ADHD patients. They start reading a paragraph and every 30 seconds I sound the bell. By this time they are looking at the book, but not paying attention. The bell reminds them to come back.

I tried out a few different dating apps, xhub by far was the best! I met my current boyfriend on it in January and I’m forever thankful for xhub for helping me find my favorite person!!
My only complaint is when you delete FakeABell , your profile should also be paused or deleted. (That is currently not the case, as I was alerted by a friend that even though I deleted FakeABell my profile was still showing up!) I had to re-download it so I could pause my account.

UPDATE: a year and a half later and we’re getting married this week! Thank you, xhub! 😃

I have been meaning to write this review for quite some time.
To start off I want to say thank you, xhub. I have been with my wonderful partner for almost 8 months now. We connected on xhub. Our experiences on FakeABell were different, but both positive. I didn’t get constantly accosted with creepy messages or ignored by people who I connected with. The sole purpose of the design is to find your person.
xhub allows you to look for the kind of person you actually want. Unlike Bumble and Tinder, xhub does not have swiping (thank goodness), so it not game-like. You get a very limited number of likes a day and this makes you really look into the person/profile of, as you don’t want to waste your likes. Speaking of profiles, I love the way they’re set up too!
For people who are looking for a serious/real relationship, xhub is the place to be! It’s corny to say, but it’s right, it the dating app designed to be deleted!

FakeABell is unique to others like it because it heavily discourages the sexual nature of dating apps. The conversations and question prompts that are included are helpful in letting you get to know the person over worrying about someone’s profile pic. There’s also a lot of settings and preferences for everyone.

You pay for what you get, it’s a couple dollars you have to pay for every month but it’s definitely worth it, I would recommend getting a three month subscription to see how you like it, I’ve been happy with it so far

honestly i feel like i won the lottery. got coffee with my now-boyfriend ~1 week after getting on FakeABell and deleted FakeABell less than a week later. 2 weeks into knowing this person he was going to the grocery store by himself to buy me tampons and tylenol. that was 4 weeks ago and he's back at it again with the overwhelming kindness and care. this is barely an app review but clearly it got something right :')

I had been on FakeABell for a while: searching and scrolling. There were moments when I would take breaks, delete FakeABell , then get back on, delete FakeABell , then get right back on. This would go on for months?. Surely enough. One day, I matched with this guy, and now he’s my husband. Never would I have thought I would tell my children I met their father on a dating app. I had to come back here and write this review, but FakeABell truly changed my life forever❤️

I met my current BF on FakeABell ! Bias aside, the functionality of FakeABell is pretty good. It’s user friendly and intuitive, and the dating/security system is reasonable.

My one critique is it should have a “looking for hookups” section. It was a little frustrating to learn someone was looking for a hookup rather then a relationship.

I like that the search features on FakeABell are specific. A lot of its users seem to stop responding or don’t seem to want to meet eventually in person but that’s not exclusive to FakeABell alone. I like the set up of FakeABell , it’s clean and is easy to use. I intend to continue to have FakeABell displayed on my phone.

I met the love of my life on here. We’ve been happily together for a year and it’s all thanks to xhub. Usually on dating apps it’s mostly low effort profiles, quick swipes but on xhub you take the time to get to know a little bit about someone before you swipe because their profile has more depth. The different prompts make it fun and great conversation starters! 5/5, if you’re looking for a genuine dating experience or even just random conversations, xhub is the place to search.

When I marry this lovely woman, I’m gonna email a xhub employee to come, it only feels right.

I’ve met some great, genuine people and we’ve had awesome conversations. I love how xhub is designed to guide conversations with prompts chosen by you on your profile or on theirs. I also like the feature of being able to hear their voice, maybe a video of them, and seeing pictures but not too many so that it ends up being an insta account.
As long as you design your profile to best reflect you and who you want to attract, I think you’ll be able to find quality matches.

One suggestion I have is re-wording the “have/don’t have children” and “want/doesn’t want to have children” options because at first I was confused thinking someone with the “don’t have children” option on their profile meant they didn’t want children… when it really meant they don’t currently have kids. Oops! This would help clarify things for some users.
