I don’t remember when I downloaded DigitalComicsReader4All on my iPad but when I upgraded to iPadOS 15, I started testing the apps on my device. I discovered DigitalComicsReader4All, then tried to sign up when it was apparent that one needs an account to use it. The agreement presented to me couldn’t be read because the text in it was white text on a white background. Anyway I hit the “Agree” button and proceeded to sign up. Surprise, surprise, I couldn’t see anything because this time the text/prompts/text entry fields were all black text on a black background. So I consider this a joke or a quirk of iPadOS that the developer hasn’t seen yet. I changed my display appearance from dark to light but that made no difference. I went to its Settings and saw that the copyright was from 2014 and DigitalComicsReader4All version is 8.2.11 build 1907. Maybe it was written for an old iOS and hasn’t been revisited since 2014. Oh well, you get what you pay for…zilch.

You’ve got customers that purchased items from your service and all we want to do is to actually read what we’ve given you money to read. Your app requires constantly having to log in. Thumbs nails are invisible. Most of the time the books themselves don’t open. Do you have any intention of fixing your or do you have zero shame and are content to have taken our money and rip us off.

UPDATE: as per request of the developer I’ve tried DigitalComicsReader4All again. It worked for the first item I downloaded for a while and then made me login again for every thing I’ve downloaded. So basically it still doesn’t work. Let us know if you ever actually fix DigitalComicsReader4All.

My first problem was the thumbnails disappearing in the "my comics" section. This appears to have improved. Now I can see my thumbnails. I have a new and arguably worse problem now. Every time I click on one of the comics I downloaded from the cloud to my iPad, it prompts me to log in, even though I am logged in already. After I log in again, it just keeps prompting me to log in again. I have to remove DigitalComicsReader4All , and reload it, every day I want to read a comic. I badly want my hundreds of dollars worth of in-app purchases to be transferable to the Comixology or D.C. app platform.

DigitalComicsReader4All constantly asks me to login to read my purchased books or comics. This has been going on for the past 2 years and the developer never did anything about it. The same issue and complaints from owners had been aired here but nothing has been done by the developer. Why should Apple let this slide? You should be ashamed of yourself Mr. developer. You took our money and you never delivered a good service. Zero star!!!!!

DigitalComicsReader4All is completely broken. Attempting to use the search function crashes DigitalComicsReader4All . When attempting to sign up you cannot see the boxes to put your email and password in. And once I put my email and password in to register for an account, it said my email was invalid. I tried this with 3 different emails. And the option to sign up with Facebook is completely unusable.

Crash when open comics without internet ( 100% reproduce.

Bought and paid for these comics. Worked for awhile, then quit. Keeps telling me to login. Done successfully. Still unable to access. Deleted app and started from scratch. No dice. Changed password No dice. Support? Forget it. No dice. No way to contact. Total rip off.

All of the comics that I import have the pages out of order. It works just fine in all the other apps that I tried them in. It makes DigitalComicsReader4All pretty useless for me. If the same thing happens for purchased comics I feel sorry for those who spent money.

I am locked out of reading e-comics I bought years ago. When I try to log in with Facebook I’m told I can’t have access. When I try to set up a new account I’m supposed to agree to a blank screen as their privacy policy.

This is a great app! Super fast and it looks like they’ve fixed the thumbnails issue.

My Fundamentals we’re not showing anymore for a long time. So I updated and it’s still not showing my thumbnails.

Keeps asking for login, unable to read purchased / downloaded materials

A store front reader not for use by people with independent files. The free product down loads often fail, makes me nervous about buying from them. A good selection. DigitalComicsReader4All is a great comic reader when it is working although it likes to crash; you will seldom finish two books in a row without having to restart, sometimes by resetting the entire IPad. Selection is broad but you will not be able to sideload your own files. If the guided reader worked on all comics it would be the be a five star store, but sadly it is difficult to engage this feature and you will often find yourself pounding on the glass for a minute or two to get it to operate. Overall rating mediocre

I imported my comics through itunes, and DigitalComicsReader4All shuffled up all the pages in all the comics. This is the first time that I saw this in my life, in any comics viewer. It is unusable. 1 star.

I am absolutely loving DigitalComicsReader4All. They are definitely giving major player Comixology competition. I really enjoy that I not only can buy/rent my comics in DigitalComicsReader4All, but I can also add my PDF, CBR file comics to its collection too!! I also enjoy that I can use the UV viewer on my own personal PDF, CBR files... What a great benefit!!

I used to only use Comixology and Comic Zeal (for my PDFS/CBR files comics) for most of my comic reading experiences. I thought that I would never leave them, but now I am already considering dropping Comic Zeal so that I can combine my comic store & comic storage experiences into one APP. Time will tell if DigitalComicsReader4All effects my use of Comixology but as of now I will use them both.

Some areas of improvement is that I wish there was a way to sort out imported comics into folders, etc. That would help with organization. I used to have that with Comic Zeal and sort of miss that service. I am also hoping that we get more Marvel Comics into DigitalComicsReader4All and more graphic novel rentals. But otherwise.... DigitalComicsReader4All is FANTASTIC!!

It's not bad and it's free. However, it's missing a few features. I really like the tap zoom. It doesn't zoom in just once like other viewers, but multiple times for the really small print. It doesn't change to the next page zoomed though, nor does it change pages with a tap. I realize that you might not want all pages to be zoomed, but comic book lover switches pages with a single tap and automatically zooms. If you don't want the zoom, another single tap restores it to the original size.

DigitalComicsReader4All also doesn't allow importing of the thousands of my own older comix that I have on my hard drive. I prefer the classic comics because the panels and text bubbles are more suitable for zooming in on the iPhone. One panel typically zooms into a very readable full page. Most (not all) modern comics use larger, sometimes full page graphics and small text scattered around the page. Zoom in then you can't make out the graphic. Don't zoom in then you can't read the story. Probably good for the iPad, but I can't carry that in my pocket.

One more improvement could be to allow organizing into folders like comic zeal. It makes for a clean, uncluttered library in which finding a particular issue is quick and simple.

I've tried many of the other comic apps on DigitalComicsReader4All Store, but the others fall short of Comics+. I have read comics since I was in elementary and have recently delved into the digital realm. Comics+ easily keeps track of my comic library and keeps them displayed nicely on my virtual shelf. The built-in store browser is also usable and has an extensive collection to browse to get new comics.

In all honesty, the image quality of the comics varies by series, but I'd say 99% of them are of the highest quality. (HD I guess?) Also, while browsing the comic, the gestures are smooth and are extremely precise with their actions, making the reading experience enjoyable.

Just downloaded the new app from Iverse and it is awesome. Okay - what is so great about it - I went to my iPad and made my own guided view of Gotham Academy on my iPad (yeah ! to DC for being with the cutting edge app) and then could see the guided view on my iPhone - really cool guys and so easy. I've told all my buddies about it (?? Iverse - how can I share them with all my friends ?? - so glad you have a guided view ability. DRM really works too. Don't see it in the cloud but in my comics area. All in all I am so happy to have a Comixology killer after they lost my library. I can do in-app purchases and find a lot of the comics I want. Iverse has made a believer out of me. They rock!

Since latest upgrade there's now a good many series missing (at least from one publisher - Marvel). Would have given this a five star rating but since the upgrade I chose to give it a 3 instead.

Prior to the upgrade (latest) I had purchased the from one series ... that entire series and many others is now gone ... completely! Was about to purchase one other from said series but it's no longer there; those now missing are from the silver age and the original first volume series. What gives? They were there right before the upgrade (as I purchased one then) but now cannot! Disappointed here, will this be corrected?

I have been researching all the comic reader apps in DigitalComicsReader4All store for a few weeks now but they all have things I don't like about them. I downloaded a few comics from DigitalComicsReader4All store but I quickly got tired of zooming and panning all the time. When I saw the Iverse Comics app in DigitalComicsReader4All store it looked like it had potential so I downloaded it and have spent a few hours going through all the features. Coverflow is awesome and the comics are reasonably priced at $.99. Very quickly I discovered that I like this product and the simple interface. I hope they update DigitalComicsReader4All with a few more features but otherwise a good start.
