I’ve had Mixology for quite a while and have used it from time to time. Free app with ads...that’s fine. I could deal with that. Still feel Mixology was a 4-5 star app. But now the ads continue to talk and make sounds and there is no way to stop them from saying the same thing over and over while Mixology is open. They crossed a line. I can handle ads, but not ads that continue to make noise until you get them. DELETING!!!

I’ve used Mixology for years. It was my go to for cocktail recipes. The ads used to annoy me a bit, but since was a free app, I didn’t really mind. Until recently, that is.

Now when you click on a drink to see the ingredients, an ad pops up with no seeming way to click past it.

I’ve deleted Mixology from my phone as a result.

I’ve had Mixology for years and it used to be really good. Now the ads ruin it. If you click on a recipe you cannot get past the ads. There is literally no way to get around some of these ads.

A simple google search can get me recipes with much less hassle now. Sorry to say I’m deleting Mixology. It used to be so good.

I loaded Mixology , opened it up, and was told every 10 seconds to “Swipe up to install the Grammarly keyboard.” Yeah, definitely not why I loaded Mixology onto my phone.

Could have great functionality, could be everything I want in an app, I’ll never know.

I could never recommend an app that mixes a Manhattan at 4:1 or (good God!) an old fashioned with scotch. Stay away from this one to get good drinks. As important as app design is, the content of the drink descriptions is paramount. No mater how good this got (and the form is only average) you can’t trust the contents here.

Every time you try to open Mixology I get an advertising for a game that takes a long time on my screen, recipes are not very accurate.

I get to a drink and an ad completely takes over, and can not get past it. Don’t waste your time with Mixology.

Crashes when attempting to edit custom recipes. Also, can’t add custom ingredients.

Now ads block you at every turn. No longer worth the trouble.

I’m okay with ads but I opened Mixology and there was an audio ad. Not having that.

Basically subject. Still a great app, but needs to be updated for newer phones.

Mixology was fine until I saw a handful of cocktails named after nazis. No thanks.

There are many non alcoholic recipes too

Mix it up, people.

They’ve updated Mixology . Still has adds, but you can get around them to see how to mix the drink.
