  What’s the next step?

  Really cool idea that could be developed into a carnival staple, but seems to have been rushed out early. There is no explanation as to what is redeemable and how to get it. I am aimlessly tapping in hopes of getting some Bacchus haul to add to my collection, but do not have information of how to collect.

  Innovative way to share spirit of Mardi Gras!

  This app is a lot of fun and is such a great way to keep the spirit of Mardi Gras alive even in an unusual year! I love the ability to customize my avatar, and it’s fun to get to collect special throws! (I can’t wait to see which ones we can redeem for real throws, too!) Well done to the whole Bacchus Krewe!

  Can't wait to use this app. It looks amazing, and fun for all. Bacchus is always the most beautiful Parade of all times. This is why people travel from all over to New Orleans, to see this parade with hope of catching the most sort after throws. Thank you.

  Does this work?

  Visited Floats in the Oaks, turned on app and nothing! Does it work or does it just track your every movement. The app gives no instruction. The game is fun for about 30 seconds. But it didn’t work for Floats in the Oaks and I hope it works on Sunday but I don’t have high hopes. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

  Pointless

  Tried to use it at Floats in the Oaks near the Bacchus floats, but nothing happened. Really wanted to try to catch a bike.

  Not as Advertised

  Downloaded for Floats in the Oaks and highly disappointed. Bluetooth and GPS were on, but there were no “special throws” or “prizes” for the kids to try to win. There weren’t even instructions on how to use it! Nothing happened except unnecessary data usage. Tried giving it another shot for the Super Bowl mini parades, and the app crashed and whatnot.... All-in-all, this app can be a nice time-killer, but it has a lot of kinks :(
