This was super fun to do with friends in my living room when we were all in Yardi Gras. Looking forward to more games, updates, and how it will work when we have live parades again (praying to Bacchus we do).

I won a hat! Saw lots of winners picking up their bikes! Can’t wait to see what they give away next year! Also got to get a peak of the floats! Wow! Beautiful! Was also told to keep watching ThrowMeSomethingBacchus for some cool happenings. Will do! Thanks Bacchus!

This was something fun to do when we didn’t have parades. My friend won a bike and I won a Cane’s dog. Can’t wait for this years version!

ThrowMeSomethingBacchus is really cool, you get to live Mardi Gras virtually and catch stuff. It not Mardi Gras how we grew up but it will do in the world of Covid and it was a great ideal that Bacchus came up with. (Destinique my handle is Dede)

ThrowMeSomethingBacchus is a lot of fun and is such a great way to keep the spirit of Mardi Gras alive even in an unusual year! I love the ability to customize my avatar, and it’s fun to get to collect special throws! (I can’t wait to see which ones we can redeem for real throws, too!) Well done to the whole Bacchus Krewe!

I “was” having fun with ThrowMeSomethingBacchus till 2 weeks ago. Since then when I go into the game, I get a “can not use back camera error” and the screen turns black. No parade, nothing. I was looking forward to the virtual parade this afternoon.

Edit: for some reason starting 2 weeks ago, my camera settings for ThrowMeSomethingBacchus changed. I reset them and now all is fine.

For future parades how will ThrowMeSomethingBacchus
Work. Will gps proximity be taken into consideration when catching the rare items? I don’t want to be pelted with a real bead while using my phone to catch a fake one. But is it fare to open the catches to the world while I am standing 3 feet from the floats?

I love this idea for ThrowMeSomethingBacchus especially being from NC, but I’m not quite sure what the purpose of trading throws is. Is it just virtual collecting, or can ALL the throws be redeemed? Also I’m not opposed to driving back to NOLA but how would you redeem any throws you acquired? Would they ship them or what? Very excited to see how this all pans out! Happy Carnival!!! ⚜️

Can't wait to use ThrowMeSomethingBacchus. It looks amazing, and fun for all. Bacchus is always the most beautiful Parade of all times. This is why people travel from all over to New Orleans, to see this parade with hope of catching the most sort after throws. Thank you.

Really cool idea that could be developed into a carnival staple, but seems to have been rushed out early. There is no explanation as to what is redeemable and how to get it. I am aimlessly tapping in hopes of getting some Bacchus haul to add to my collection, but do not have information of how to collect.

Just downloaded this on January 6th. Works good. Great little app, can’t wait till the parade.

Visited Floats in the Oaks, turned on app and nothing! Does it work or does it just track your every movement. ThrowMeSomethingBacchus gives no instruction. The game is fun for about 30 seconds. But it didn’t work for Floats in the Oaks and I hope it works on Sunday but I don’t have high hopes. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

I think this is a Fun app & I Love BACCHUS PARADE. !!!!!!

I was really looking forward to using it but it crashes every time I open it.

I signed up and tried to log in several times and it said - could not log in.

Haven’t even been able to see what it does. Crashes every time you go to games. Is it rigged?

Tried to use it at Floats in the Oaks near the Bacchus floats, but nothing happened. Really wanted to try to catch a bike.

No throws came on the screen as we drive through ...

Ugh. What is the point?

Downloaded for Floats in the Oaks and highly disappointed. Bluetooth and GPS were on, but there were no “special throws” or “prizes” for the kids to try to win. There weren’t even instructions on how to use it! Nothing happened except unnecessary data usage. Tried giving it another shot for the Super Bowl mini parades, and ThrowMeSomethingBacchus crashed and whatnot.... All-in-all, ThrowMeSomethingBacchus can be a nice time-killer, but it has a lot of kinks :(
