I am really happy with SoothingSounds. I love sleep sounds and I love that you can mix these and save them with your own names.
You can mix up to 12 sounds together and save them in a custom mix with your own naming scheme.
There is a wide variety of sounds to choose from and it is interesting to find different combinations that go together. I used fireplace, thunderstorm, café, and several types of chimes together along with frog sounds. It sounded lovely!
There is also a timer feature which I have not used but goes up to 24 hours.
Also a huge plus: no ads and no tracking of any sort. SoothingSounds is completely private.

It’s super simple to use and well designed. Works perfectly on my older device 👍🏻 would love to see more sounds added for future updates!

SoothingSounds is nearly perfect. Great interface and wide variety of sounds. But I’m an avid user of the clock sound and I can’t help but notice it’s not perfect and after about 25 seconds it noticeably skips and restarts so it’s not a perfect loop. I wish that could be corrected but other than that it’s great.

Mixing sounds is the one feature I most want from a sleep noise app and this one does it brilliantly. Add shortcuts support and it would be perfect.

I used Noise.io for quite awhile, and decided to try this out. It's very similar in its selection of sounds and the ability to create a mix. The only thing I really want that SoothingSounds doesn't have is to be able to start and stop it from the menu bar. Otherwise, it's quite nice!

Its no big deal, its only a buck but SoothingSounds says 30 sounds as if thats what you get for free. Thats no tthe case at all. It offers 2 sounds for free only. Misleading and deceptive.
