Here are some helpful workarounds that should work whenever GitTrends app keeps crashing or doesn't work as expected on your iPhone 14, 13,12,10,8,7,6, SE,XS,XR.

How to fix GitTrends app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the GitTrends app on iPhone
Update GitTrends app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall GitTrends iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix GitTrends on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve GitTrends network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, Goto "Settings" » "General" » "Reset" » "Reset Network Settings".
2. Enter your device passcode. Then confirm "Reset Network Settings".

Turn off your VPN:
1. Goto "Settings" » "General" » "VPN".

Fix GitTrends not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent GitTrends app issues:

Force Stop the GitTrends App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click GitTrends app. » click "Force Stop".

Update GitTrends to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear GitTrends App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "GitTrends app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch GitTrends.

Fix GitTrends unable to contact server/ GitTrends internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click GitTrends » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got GitTrends » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch GitTrends on android.
