Curius Dating - Chat & Meet Reviews

I downloaded and deleted CuriusDating multiple times. Double checked for updates, and restarted my iPad multiple times as well; but no matter what I do nothing seems to work. I can never get passed the sign up page, I’ve tried apple, google, and Facebook and all will load for multiple minutes, endlessly really, but I will always get a “something is wrong message”. And I know it is not my device cause I’ve tried many other apps that all run smoothly, with absolutely no problems.
I love the concept of CuriusDating, I do, and I understand there will be bumps in the road at the beginning, but it’s just disappointing not even getting through the front door. I hope I can return when it’s more polished, but till then, it’s just sad.

Not a lot of users yet. CuriusDating is also a little laggy but overall i think its awesome and gonna hit the ground running once it takes off

Update: after a weekish of use i am less impressed ... its still very new but many changes need made pretty quickly. In havent matched with anyone .. not even my wife (we both want more friends)who swiped the same thing on me as i did her and it never showed up as a match... yet i keep getting notifications of matches when on CuriusDating i have none after a week ... not really worth my time anymore :(

I had been looking for a perfect match over last few months but always ended up getting a imperfect match. Thanks curius for coming up with the amazing way of solving the problem of many like me. Last week I met a girl who was interested in serious dating. I feel lucky to meet her through Curius. We are perfect Nachos-Salsa 😍 combination unlike other apps where I always ended up getting a “Ketch-up”🥴

I think it has a great concept. Takes the guess work out of what people are looking for. However there seem to be several bugs to work out. I get a lot of error messages when trying to navigate through CuriusDating . And there doesn’t seem to be a way to remove likes unless you choose to match with them. Also shows I have more likes on my profile than I actually have, or vice versa.

I’m over mindless swiping so this is a great concept, but there’s a lot to work out.

After getting a new phone I redownloaded CuriusDating and for some reason it won’t let me enable my location like my previous phone. I went to turn on the setting through CuriusDating and it took me to the settings app where it doesn’t give me the option to turn on location there either. Even doing the vacation mode doesn’t allow me to start swiping with anyone. I enjoyed CuriusDating on my old phone but for some reason it’s a dud on my new one.

I’ve tried pretty much every other dating app just to see what they’re like and Curius is the first one I’ve seen where you can swipe into different categories instead of just left or right, and that’s why I’m still using it! It’s fun and easy to meet all kinds of people, not just for dating but making friends too 🤔💯

I just downloaded CuriusDating and made my account, the concept is great and I was excited to try it. However there is NO pop up to enable location access and in CuriusDating details in your settings there’s no option listed for location at all. I’ve used plenty of other dating apps so I know it isn’t user error.

I’ll update my review if I can actually get my location to work.

Update: after deleting and redone loading CuriusDating it did ask for location to be allowed. I selected log in through Apple ID, it logged me in but was stuck on loading screen and if I clicked my profile icon on the upper left I got an error “Something went wrong,”

Closed CuriusDating and reopened, then the Apple log in option was gone completely. Logging in through google you get stuck on loading. I have screenshots if any devs want them for TS

I absolutely love the concept of this dating app!! I really don’t like using dating apps bc most people just want hookups and a lot aren’t upfront about it, but this makes it so easy. Keeping a profile up on the off chance it does blow up! I love all the features of CuriusDating 💜

so many bugs, everytime i go to edit my profile there is something. the loading circle never leaves even after its all loaded. i cant upload anymore pics. i was only able to upload 2, but then i wanted to switch them so i deleted them but im not able to upload more so my profile is now pictureless. when i did upload the pics it only let me upload into 2 slots so i uploaded them into the first slots but when i previewed my profile they were in the last slots so my first 4 pics were blank. great idea for an app dont get me wrong, just the staff behind it need to do better and tested it before it was released to the public 😊

I am so glad that I downloaded CuriusDating. I just moved to a new city and didn’t know anyone. I love that the intentions are clear because I have already made a few new gal pals. Thank you so much to the developer!

In the start screen I am asked continue with iCloud, gmail, or Facebook account. I selected to continue with iCloud initially but the loading screen took around 5 min and then tried to continue with gmail and the same issued occurred. After reinstalling CuriusDating the icloud option is no longer available and the issue is the same after selecting gmail. I’d appreciate some help.

Curius is a great concept. Almost everyone I know who uses Tinder or Bumble is unsatisfied. With Curius, unlike Tinder and Bumble, I’ve actually had conversations with my matches, and the ability to swipe in multiple directions is a cool innovation.

I love CuriusDating , and I bought the membership but I’m having trouble seeing who swiped for me. It said I had two swipe but only showed me one of the people.

CuriusDating is good! I have been looking for the right dating app and came across this for the right girl! Thanks Curius now I’m dating someone who we have the same interests and live close to each other!

CuriusDating rocks. I love how I can swipe in 6 different directions, as well as see what direction my match swiped me into! It makes starting conversations so much easier for us!
