Downloaded OwlHat bc I needed help w a word problem...and in the middle of typing I noticed the camera button so I was like let me just take a picture of the word problem. Then I pressed “solve” and it asked me for my Apple ID....like why do you need my Apple ID? So I ignored it and continued typing again but then it asked me to verify my Apple ID once again. OwlHat seems sus because why do you want my Apple ID login. Also at the beginning it gave you a notification and asked you if you want the give OwlHat your information and ask u if they want to track your websites and stuff. Idk. Seems weird and sus(picious)

You guys make fake reviews which is very obvious and ask for Apple ID to create an account? And after I made an account it said I had to pay $10 for solving word problems. Unacceptable, such a high price for math problems and word problems. If you are reading this then don’t get OwlHat, you have to pay right after you create your account using Apple ID.

I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong, even though I’m almost positive I’m not, but when I type in my problem no matter how many times I click solve it just doesent do anything. It loads for a second then nothing happens it doesent solve it or give me an error or anything!

Also all these other reviews are fake!! They have their app on a website where they pay you to write good reviews for apps! Please do not purchase OwlHat and waste your money. It says it will solve your word problem if you pay 9.99 so you do and it doesn’t solve. It just goes back to the word problem.

I read the reviews for OwlHat but I still decided to give it a chance I wasn’t asked to login with my Apple account or anything but the problem with OwlHat is that every single answer was wrong. And the camera function doesn’t work that well either even though I kept taking clear photos I had press solve at least four if not five times before it decided to solve my question not like it did any good because every single answer was wrong so just like the review said it’s not worth it.

OwlHat is false advertising!!!! It makes you pay $10 a month and does not even work. I’m constantly trying to put in my problem and it does not solve anything. Literally the worst app, so pathetic of you guys to leech on to student that need help with math problems. If I could give it less than one star I would.....

If I could give it a one star I would but I can’t. Anyway, you write a problem down you know and then it closes it you have to use your fingerprint or password and then you have to close out the ad that says “ buy the pro” and then your problem you wrote down how away and then you have to start over!! 😡😡

DO NOT USE IT, IT IS VERY WEIRD DONT USE APPLE ID WHEN IT ASKS YOU JUST DONT, I had like 10 dollars in my account and when I used the free trial just to put in a word problem it asked me to verify so stupid me verified and soon after I cancelled the subscription I checked my account and I had no money left, I don’t know if that was OwlHat stealing from me or something else, but don’t use OwlHat it isn’t worth it I promise

I don’t like long reviews so I’ll just put it simply; it doesn’t even work. I was stuck on one problem and decided to try it. I got the question wrong. The photo feature is also broken. It didn’t answer my question, at all. I do not recommend OwlHat for math help at all.

I didn’t read very many reviews before downloading OwlHat I saw 4 stars and one good review and downloaded it and after I did I spent forever typing out my paragraph just for it to ask me to verify my apple id which I thought was weird but I did it anyway and then come to find out you need to pay to get the answer. Even if i did pay the $10 it deleted my whole problem. Not worth it terrible app and false advertising.

When I went to download OwlHat I was excited because of the reviews and downloaded it. As soon as I got in things looked really good until I went to solve a problem, when I went to snap a picture it said I needed to verify my Apple ID and gave me a option to go to settings but I didn’t see the reason you need our Apple ID. I ignored it and spent 2 minutes writing my Long problem then boom. I needed to verify. I don’t know why you would need to but if you could respond it would be greatly appreciated

I just downloaded this because I needed help with one particular word problem which stumped me. So I downloaded OwlHat for help. First of all, it’s very difficult to type, and very tedious. I finally got the whole word problem in, and then it asked me for my Apple ID. I closed out of the pop-up because I don’t want to give OwlHat access to my Apple ID. I just wanted to solve a single problem. I kept trying but I wouldn’t give in for the Apple ID. Because, well, no way. I just uninstalled OwlHat , and I do not recommend.

App runs smoothly, able to solve to problems with step by step instructions, monthly subscription is worth it because I’m able to check my children’s math assignments using OwlHat .

After uploading the photos of the math problems, I just need to wait a few minutes before getting the results and explanation. So fast and effective!

I’ve tried some apps similar to this one but they just gave me the results without detailed explanations, which was quite hard for me to understand. But this one is different, it provides me with step-by-step explanations, which are super easy to understand.
