App is well designed, looks great. I like the idea behind the app. However, $30 per year or $3 per month is far too much. As this is not a service (think iCloud) it should be a one time fee. I would pay $15-$30 if it was a one time cost. Also the free version lacks basic functionality: the ability to add photos to a note, in my opinion the whole point of the app, more than 5 or 6 tags (Why?) and the ability to sync notes to iCloud (again Why?). Overall while OneNote is different, it’s free, and does what this app does, even better in some cases.

I’m deleting this program. I like the direction this is going and it could be useful but I have no wish to be bound by rental software.
My previous workflow was to share specific pictures with notability pages which worked fine especially with Siri Shortcuts but I like this solution better.
Regardless, I do not rent software. If there’s a purchase option in the future I’ll consider it again. I’ll still give you guys four stars based on other users’ reviews who don’t mind renting and based on my short usage experience.

My phone’s photo album is a mess. It takes me forever to find that great mid-fetch photo I took of my dog, because I have to dig through reference photos I took for work - whiteboards, sticky note clusters, travel receipts... they’re all in there and are seriously bumming me out (go away and let me see my dog!!).
I’ve started using Birch to store and tag all those photos - and not only is my photo album back to being dog-friendly, but I can quickly and easily tag and identify which whiteboard was from that huge workshop, and which was from that small team brainstorm. You get the idea. This app has solved a problem I didn’t even know I had!
