I downloaded BasicWeather to receive daily notifications on my lock screen. I never got any notifications. BasicWeather’s only appeal is that it has gifs. The weather has been incorrect and it doesn’t even have the correct location, and it’s not like I live in the middle of nowhere, I live in New York City. I wouldn’t recommend BasicWeather unless they make some MAJOR fixes.

I have all my notification options turned on but it never sends any alerts at the set time. Had to delete BasicWeather because it was not helping me. It did have cute gifs though.

The gifs that are parred with each weather forecast are ironic and fun. It’s also fun to look out at the weather for the week and see even more gifs. I have my app set to push me a notification every morning.

There’s nothing better to fit my basic lifestyle than Basic Weather. The gifs are so on point, I laugh my Uggs off and spew my PSL every time. The paid version lets me share with my 15k followers on Insta. 😁

i love how simple the interface and information are. sometimes i don't need all the details of some other weather apps. i love getting the weather notification on my home screen when i wake up. AND having weather represented by an animated gif is the best.
