Creepypasta Reviews

Alright, I just want to say I absolutely love these. You have a ton of short stories that I personally love. You also have medium sized stories, big stories, and huge stories, but you have to pay for most of those. Those stories are usually around two goes to read, or the biggest one. The stories can be organised alphabetically, or by the read time. And better yet, it tells you how long it would possibly take you to read the story. A lot of them you have to pay for, but it's only two dollars. I read some other reviews saying there were some "Classics", like BEN_drowned, Laughing Jack, but I haven't found those. But there are still amazing stories and I love basically all of them!
Another nice thing is it's always on what you might call "Night mode", with a dark back screen and white text, and when you turn your device sideways, it doesn't, which is nice because I could lay on my side, and still read it easily.
Sorry for such a long review, I just want to give as much good stuff about this as I can. The only reason I gave it four stars and not five is because I don't really want to pay money •~•
But I love Creepypasta so much!!

They steal these stories off Reddit’s forum r/NoSleep. They leave the names of the users, but no link to an account or where to find them. They do not ask for permission to use this content, and is unfairly making a profit through it. Developers please, either make original content, share profits with creators, or at least ask for permission and leave links to their account for credit purposes. This is incredibly unfair, and I believe it would be illegal if the users had copyrighted these. To which I believe technically it is according to “Article 13,” which makes everything that can possibly be copyrighted illegal to take without permission; in the USA at least anyway. I may be wrong on this little fact, but please try to be fair about it. I would like to apologize if this sounds rude or disrespectful towards you but users on reddit are outraged by this, and I’m trying to help work it out in a formal, respectful manner and I’m doing my best to keep it that way. None of my stories have been used, but I am speaking on the behalf of the users who’s stories have been unrightfully taken without their consent. Please take this into consideration.

Well worth unlocking all stories. I’m hoping the sorting options don’t go away with implementation of the not-yet-included “by rating” feature, if that’s coming. The many sorting options make this always fresh and far superior to other apps and the website.

Also, i highly recommend reading the reallllly long and highly worth it 50 foot ant stories, start with Humper Monkey, then 50 foot ant’s first story. There are 5 total by ant and one by monkey so far. Ant and monkey aren’t the same person, but exist in both story lines to some degree. That’s the no-spoiler version.

Again with those stories, you can read about the Army I grew up with. And the West Germany I lived in, during the years they took place. I was THERE! Different part of west Germany, but still. Moving on:

I love Creepypasta-I use it daily. It’s replaced my kindle unlimited subscription. There’s horror and sci-fi within. Some content is definitely x-rated. If you need a trigger warning on any thing, stay away from Creepypastas. Also I’m loving the Poe! Creepypasta’s creator has done an amazing thing here.

Creepypasta is perfect! I have a 8 year old who is a easy scare and she really wanted Creepypasta, I said no but looked into it, I got Creepypasta and tried it and as long as she doesn’t get scared she can have it. Parents please let your kids get this like I did mine. You can always change your mind, just heads up it’s not a texting story it’s just a story only on a device. WARNING: MONITOR YOYR CHILDS ACTIVITY. I don’t recommend anything with to much violence, or other inappropriate topics: Creepypasta is supposed to have a warning saying if it’s to “mature”

Not to bad I haven't had any problems with it yet. I think it's put together well where you just go down a list of stories and read which ever one you want and that's it. There really isn't much to it. I find when apps have allot of features they become more difficult to use but this one is pretty good. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that close to 95 percent of thousands of stories available are locked. The way to unlock them is by rating them (that's why I'm doing this) you could also download some other free app or you can pay for all of them one time. The fact that they want to pay makes me just want to go to their website and read as many stories for free.

I’m really loving all the quick stories and the longer ones too. The only issue I have has to do with functionality. When you click on a story from the main page, the screen flips like a page from a book. After reading the chosen story, it would be nice to tap the screen or swipe left to turn to the next instead of scrolling down or going back. Also, it would be awesome if the “Read” stories were taken off the main page after being marked as “Read” and put into a sub-folder of some sort. Overall, really fun app but needs a bit of polishing.

Really enjoy the stories on Creepypasta. It’s worth purchasing all of them.

I’m not sure I understand the goal of the latest update though. All the stories I have already read are listed at the top. I don’t want to scroll through all the things I’ve read to get to the ones I have not. If Creepypasta must be sorted by read/not read, how about putting the not read at the top! That’s what the user is looking for. New stories!

I personally love creepypastas. To me they’re like late night scary stories my friends would tell by a campfire. That is, IF I had any friends to begin with, let alone those who actually like to tell stories. These stories range in quality and in size. Phenomenal for any time you have down time, and it’s also free, so why wouldn’t you give it a go and see for yourself? The ONLY reason I only give this four stars is because some stories contain small, really insignificant grammatical mistakes. I don’t like it, and it sometimes kills the mood of a good story a bit, but to many I’m sure it could be easily overlooked.

I read some reviews on here stating that people purchased Creepypasta as recent as a month ago.... I've had Creepypasta for MAYBE 2 months and didn't pay for it. Also I haven't seen a single ad on here. Also also I don't know what they're saying about only being able to read one story per day, I've spent the last 3 hours reading stories on here...
I'm really confused as to what these people are referring to.....
I love this. I can't go to sleep without reading at least a handful of these stories!

I love Creepypasta! I can read all my favorite this app stories, pretty much for free! I only have a few problems with Creepypasta: 1) It lags sometimes when I’m scrolling down. 2) Sometimes it won’t let me read the free ones, it just throws me out of Creepypasta . 3) I unlocked one of the locked ones [by watching an ad] and it still said locked. It’s not a big deal but I would like these things fixed. Really love Creepypasta otherwise, I always read a story before bed! (probably not the best idea but eh)

Hello I am about to tell you a story about me and my friend that night my friend max I was going while I was waiting for my friend max to open the door I saw a couple of people they had pocket knife and some one was close by so I saw him get murdered and I ran into the house and we wanted to watch a movie and we fell asleep and then our other friend randy we heard him text us and then we went to the door to get randy and I will never forget randy was dead at the door and In the house I heard a loud bang and the man was standing there on Max’s dead body and I ran away I will never forget this well by

I love the stories! They’re so vivid and realistic, it’s like you’re trapped in the characters world and you’re experiencing everything that Character is going through. Now, being a kid with social autism, (14) I don’t have many friends, but these short stories make me feel warmer on the inside! Who doesn’t love scary stories? If you like reading, and scary stories, Creepypasta is just for you! They make your bones chill and the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, with goosebumps all over!

All in all, this is a good app. The stories are creepy, the way they are written is amazing, and overall, good quality! But with all great things comes responsibility. They handled THAT part pretty badly. I noticed that a few of these stories come from reddit, and from what I’ve seen, they didn’t ask permission. If Creepypasta is stealing some of these from others, I won’t deal with it, but because of now ACTUAL prof, I’m going to give this a four star. Also, it’s a bit of a pain how some stories are locked. All in all, good app!

I love this I wish all of them was feel it so fun to read these stories like at in Halloween or sleepovers and wherever you want I love the story I will read all of them and I like it when you add a woman to read for us it hear some people who death with hearing or with people who bind so yeh I love your idea very much and I grateful I don’t have to look for story on Halloween night it not that I lazy I just been busy oh nvm I love you app

So I’m kinda a writer and I like to make scary books. Now this is useful when I write I don’t have ideas of like this man who is covered in blood and can teleport. Kinda like making my own dimension story kind of thing! Like this kid who is bullied and needs someone and that person turns the good side of them off then they go on a killing spree. Creepypasta is very good you will love Creepypasta if you like scary stories and or if you write scary stories but have no big ideas.

It's not horrible and I've found quite a lot of my favorite stories such as Ben drowned and laughing jack I don't understand why you have to pay, the stories are free online I just think it's a bit unnecessary but my biggest pet peeve about Creepypasta is that... I CANT FIND JEFF THE KILLERS STORY! he is one of the biggest this app characters and he's on even here I've look everywhere but I just can't find his story but over well Creepypasta is pretty good

Even though this app is the best place to read scary and thrilling stories, it gets repetitive. I feel like there aren’t enough stories on this app, and that’s mainly because of all the short stories that are put on there. I feel like there should at least be more stories, longer stories to keep the reader occupied. Other than that, this app is great!

I love Creepypasta! The creepiest little stories ever can be read on there. I especially love the micropastas!! I have finished reading all of them. Some are very heart pounding short stories. I do have one suggestion. You should make a feature that allows people to make their own this app or micropasta. I haven’t looked through the entire app, but if you already have that feature, then I hope I find it!

I'm really enjoying Creepypasta so far. I've read some pretty good tales, with some stories reminding me of short stories by Joe Hill, in a subtle, quality way. There are a few weak ones that make my head hurt, but I really like the constructive criticism and advice that fellow readers offer instead of trolling. A lot of mutual respect here- irony to immerse yourself in a horror site to get away from the real monsters lurking behind their screens.

Creepypasta wasn't what I was expecting in the best way. I thought it was going to be filled the usual popular creepypastas- all of them were either going to be based around killers, ghost, insanity, and stuff like that.

What I got was Creepypasta with a ton of mind boggling stories that are fun and exciting to read. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes philosophical stories, thrillers, and other things like that.

If they grouped together stories that have multiple parts so I could read them in order. Second, if they allowed the pictures and other uploads available, even through a redirect link. That way it wouldn’t need to be stored in Creepypasta . Currently, stories will reference uploaded photos and I have no clue what it is unless I search around the web myself. I read these all the time. Many of them are quite entertaining!

I love these stories so much and was excited to find Creepypasta. Now I can read most of the stories for free. I do wish that you didn’t have to do something’s like tasks or spend money to read some stories. I wanted to read Jeff the killer and it said you have to buy it or rate Creepypasta and stuff. Other than that Creepypasta is great. I told my friend about it and she is now addicted to it.

Very good app, 10/10 would recommend. It has an abundant collection of creepy stories of all lengths and genres. The story themselves are of course very well written, and by many different authors, so each story has its own wonderful ness to it. Creepypasta is also very organized and easy to use, it is customizable and has an option to listen to the story as an audio.

I’m not really a person to write reviews but this is a really good app. I’m in the this app mood and hated reading online. I looked for apps and found this one. There are no ads unless you want to unlock a story, there are so much features and I honestly think Creepypasta is a amazing. Sorry if I can’t really explain good. This is my 3rd review and I think you should check out Creepypasta to see for yourself. ☺️
