First thing is that the regular Ricoh app that comes with the camera currently has far more features than this one.
Secondly, this app will not auto-level the image like the Ricoh app does. I consider that a deal breaker right there.
Thirdly, this app has some bugs with the interface. You have to know to deselect certain shooting parameters that aren't supported when switching shooting modes. This should have been ironed out during programming and testing but I see there has only been one release with no updates for many months now.
Not a good sign.
I did give this app 1 extra star because it will transfer the image from the camera at the same quality of compression as if you transferred via USB to desktop.
The normal Ricoh app will degrade the image ever so slightly when transferring to the phone because leveling and re-saving happens automatically.
Images transferred via USB are *not* auto leveled by either this app or the Ricoh app.
So you must use the desktop Ricoh app to level the image. But guess what- the Ricoh desktop app uses higher compression (with no option to change it), so your images will just end up looking worse than if you transferred them via wifi (with the auto-leveling pass) to your phone in the first place. How's that for bonkers.
So for max quality, you will need to convert to tiff and level in PTgui etc.

Seems to work as described. I really just wanted an easy way to turn off the shutter sound, which this did right away. Lots of options for control of the camera and I can see using this more often than the Theta app. Nice job!
