Yellofier is great, I use it to mix sounds all this time when it works. It crashes a lot. That’s it, 9 times out of 10 it won’t open for me.

This is an awesome app! Great auto-slice feature. Exporting does not work on iOS 7.1.2 .. but Audiobus compatibility adds in/out. Could not find a Support section on your webpage

While I have one major request for Yellofier--which I hope might be addressed in future updates--I have to give it props for it's design, depth, and functionality. It's one critical flaw is the only thing keeping it from 5 stars.
My big, pleading wish is for the ability to record and/or import individual sounds rather than one long string to be cut up. If this function exists I haven't found it. The addition of this feature would change Yellofier from a toy to a tool. I understand the developer's desire for in-the-moment creativity, but they are being a bit disingenuous as clearly none of their samples were created this way. (Oh, and one other nit-pick: black fonts on a dark grey background may work for owls, but not me.)
Add an import sound function, and I will work with Apple to create the world's first 10-star review. In the meantime, congrats to all involved in the creation of this ingenious app!

Great app from amazing music pioneers. Sounds great and great fun. I lose myself for hours. I wish it had audio paste so I could import high quality sounds I record. Also would love midi and some other features to make it okay nice with other apps...because it sounds so good and I like my performances so much I want to build upon them in other Pro apps. Either way it's worth every penny. I love it. Buy it!

You can import a sound file and set your slice points. Create your own or randomize the slices in 16 beat patterns. Save your work and export it.
I've been creating my own samples to use in the program by having multiple elements all on one file i.e. drumbeat, bass line, melody and individual hits all laid out one after the other. Set the slice points and you can then use these elements as individual sound blocks.
Contrary to the review below, you CAN load more than one sound file, just not in the same song.
I love that it just keeps playing no matter what you do. You can switch songs, edit patterns or the sequence and it never stops. You can even record over the loop that you are using through the phones mic and capture part of your old loop and whatever other noises you have going. Brilliant!
Creates amazing noisy glitchy beats out of anything you capture into the recorder. You can also achieve 'normal' beats if you use your own samples.
The limitations are what make it so cool.
I've yet to find a music app without limitations anyway, so use it for what it's good for, generating a ton of randomized patterns from your imported loops or sounds captured through the phones mic.

The year is 2022. I have only just discovered Yellofier. It is now one of two main apps I use for getting started.
Yellofier is bare-bones, there’s no audio unit or inter app audio functionality, and I don’t care in the slightest.
You can whip out an 100 bar sequence in no time and export to AudioShare (pro tip: solo each of the four channels and export for “stems”) and chop and arrange the bits elsewhere; which is exactly what I’ve been doing.
So many apps try to emulate physical hardware or apps from a computer. We need more apps like this that make our touch screen devices feel like a living instrument.
Five stars!

I am reading some negative feedback about Yellofier and I must say it seems they are all missing the real genius of Yellofier (which is understandable given the demo songs) I you want to work with multiple recordings and have more control over each individual sample just get something like Realbeat or Samplelab and quit griping about every app that doesn't do every little thing you think it should. The real fun for me in Yellofier is the potential for loop remixing. Sample a phrase, write a sequence, hit play, then try moving the cue points around on the slice screen in real time as the sequence plays. If you can produce these sorts of contortions out of any other app in the iTunes Store then let me know. My music is heavily focused on the human voice as an instrument and for me, this is one of my top ten. Audiobus plus exporting loop friendly files to Audioshare would garner an extra star if there were space for one. Bashing an app because you think it should do more when you haven't even found its limits is a disservice to all of us.

Also the ability to add swing/triplets!
Hopefully the dev didn’t forget about Yellofier.

Yellofier is very cool and I wanted to share that when I ever feel a creative “lull” or lack of musical ideas, I power up my iPad or iPhone and start up this app. (Every time I also hear Deiter say “oooh yeah...” in my mind...)
This is simple but really has good-sounding results and works with a few other apps well.
It would be great for this to become auv3 but not necessary.
I love it and am thankful it exists!

What a fantastic app!
Update//// long press the random button for a real randomized... short press switches through some sort of memory bank.
I absolutely love this !

Love Yellofier! Very unique functionality, but would be super if midi or ableton link were available for me to use with other iOS apps!

After all of those years, it still remains one of favorite apps in which to get delightfully lost.
Keep up the great work.

Yellofier, without other supporting apps, is a great musician application. When you pair Yellofier with audiobus and bebot, you can now add tons of other sounds, basses, and other types of music into Yellofier without effort. Those three apps are gods gift to iPad musicians

update ios 11 thank you !,, amazingly simple to use app , the results blew me away on the first use...
instant glitchy stuttering beats are just a sample away! great effects, gui,and audio export make Yellofier a new "essential" in my limited collection of apps that are precious, useful and unique.. thank u boris!!!!!!!

It's probably my favorite music app. It allows you to take a sound or sample and sequence it while adding wacky effects, twisting the sound from noise to music. Can't really tell the difference between the electrified version but I own both. Go ahead and get it and start having some fun.

Opens a whole other world.
Very serious fun!
Needs to sync its clock with other apps tho.
