PhotoWidgets would be great - if it did what it says it does. Yes, you can make separate folders, and choose the size of your widget, but that’s about it. It does not reliably pull over the pictures chosen, and then only rotates through a couple of the ones that did make it into the folder. It also isn’t letting me choose different folders for different widgets, but shows the same photo in every widget. I wanted to love this, but sadly it just doesn’t work.

I was super excited I for a photo widget that would let me have ALL my photos I cherish on my Home Screen, that was until I had added all 68 photos to find out only 8 actually remained. I thought okay maybe it was only 8 no biggie, I then tried just picking 8 to only 1 actually remained. I got frustrated and thought maybe I have to add them one at a time nope only the one picture from the first go around remained. Big bummer, oh well. Hopefully the creators can smooth out the kinks 🤞🏼

PhotoWidgets is really nice, i love being able to have different albums and offsets for different widgets! I really REALLY wish there were shorter times, 30 minutes is just way too long and I feel like I miss most of the photos in my album. I would also love a shuffle mode so that I’m not always seeing photos in the same sequence. Finally, it would be AWESOME if when you click the widget, it opened the full screen version of the photo. Thank you for this cool app, looking forward to whats to come!

I was hoping that through creating separate albums, I would be able to choose which album I wanted to be in which format (small widget, medium widget, large widget), but can’t seem to find a way to do that. I was slightly disappointed...

Also, the ‘Guide’ section redirects you to an Apple Support page, rather than providing instructions on how to best use PhotoWidgets .

I really like PhotoWidgets for my photos. It is very easy to use. However, I wish there was a way to view photo albums specifically rather than having to scroll through all of my photos to select the ones I want for my widget. Also, I wish there was a way to adjust the position of the photo for the widget. For example, if my photo is portrait orientation, the widget only grabs the center of the photo rather than the face which is at the top. Hope a new version comes to help fix this issue.

Out of all the widget photos apps, this one would be my favorite but I think it needs an option that’s less than 30 minutes. I am usually not even on my phone for more than 30 minutes at a time and sometimes the cycle restarts when I turn off my phone so I never get the see my other photos. Everything else about PhotoWidgets is perfect and the image quality is great.

I love PhotoWidgets! Super simple and straightforward. It looks and works great for multiple albums and widgets! The only things that would make this better is the addition of a 'one minute' setting and if PhotoWidgets would open a full-screen version of the photo when you tap the widget. Tap the photo again and it takes you back into PhotoWidgets . This would be really wonderful for small widgets.

PhotoWidgets is overall a fantastic app for widgets, but I do have a suggestion. It would be AMAZING if you could crop the image how you like after adding an image. I don't want to spend time cropping each photo myself. It would be a much better app overall if I could choose what part of the image gets displayed.

If this gets changed then I will give this 5 stars easily!

I absolutely love this photo widget app, better than all the photo widget apps that I have tried. The refresh interval seems to be the bug for me in every single app. I want to have a new photo each day. The refresh interval seems to work for every refresh interval except the “1 day” one. I would really appreciate if this is fixed.

You HAVE to be able to delete, change, and reid the photos in each album. PhotoWidgets is simple and easy. But missing the ability to edit and delete photos once selected truly makes it near unusable

Like the purpose of this works well but the only downside is that the widget only chooses photos that is already cropped to the sizes provided. Wish the widget can legit choose the photo and customize its size before posted on the widget, that way we don’t have to be going on the photo’s app to duplicate/crop the photo to an ideal size.

PhotoWidgets has been one of the most useful for cycling specific photos, but it really should be updated with a way to search for photos through albums. I have far too many photos to keep scrolling for hours just to find one I want.

I would love if you had the option for the pictures to change more often. The photo widget app I used before could change the pictures every 5 minutes if you wanted them to.

Love it because you can have multiple widgets with different pictures and if you want one that rotates the images you can customize the refresh rate. You have to figure it out on your own so be patient because it’s worth it. There’s no instructions so it takes a couple of seconds to figure it out but pretty simple. Overall very good app!

So far this is the best photo widget. You can have multiple widgets with different albums for each that you can’t do on other photo widget apps. Photo intervals are quicker too with 5 min intervals but hoping for shorter intervals soon!
