Sanitize — Ad Blocker Reviews

In macOS, I was looking for a good ad blocker extension that doesn't have access to websites content. I tried dozen including big names like AdGuard, uBlock, ABP... But few passed that test.
From the few that lasted Sanitize It was the only that blocked not only ads but annoying "social" widgets.

For Mobile Safari, no content blocker had access to websites content but the experience I had was so good I decided to give it a try and it worked as expected. Blocked ads in all websites I visited without making my CPU spike (check by seeing your iPhone getting warm).

I find the UI a little ugly but since it works in the background its not a problem.

Installed this morning......guess what......NO ads breaking into my music on utube!! Really, amazing. Been looking all week and having to deal with the BS, installing, uninstalling, experts telling you the best list, etc! Finally, got one that works. Boy do I miss utube garbage ruining my music.........but NO MORE!

Get this if you want RID of utube ads, I really miss them🤣!

Whenever someone complains about ads, I turn them onto Sanitize and the complaints stop. It works well and allows me to enjoy content without interruption or ad pollution. Lumcheesal-Georgia

Of all the adblockers recommended around the web (including the popular ones), this is the only one that doesn't break any of my favorite websites. It works great on the Mac too!

Simply the best ad blocker in the store. Unlike others, this one is maintained and updated regularly.

I had hoped to find something that would stop those annoying “Congratulations Amazon/Apple/whatever User” popups but apparently this wasn’t SanitizeAdBlocker for it. Also, it seemed to work on regular ads but then it stopped working. Ads were everywhere with the blocker on. On to the next app.

Wonderful and amazing app! Would it be possible to have a DNS for SanitizeAdBlocker configurations and the ability to add/edit other DNS addresses?

Maybe I don't know how to use it properly, but it seems that I have just the amount of crap that I had before installing SanitizeAdBlocker . Can't see any difference at all. Disappointing for sure.

After downloading and enabling in settings, the first site I checked had ads. Pointless. I’m gonna keep searching.

Sanitize works perfectly. The dev is also really cool and humble so be sure to donate to them.

The only thing I can really think that would make it better is if there was a safari share menu option to whitelist or blacklist sites.

This blocked some ads, but almost tripled the cookies stored by
Safari. Junk.

Love SanitizeAdBlocker- easy to install and use, and it blocks those annoying popups on safari! Great, simple design- glad I purchased!
