of the whole world of music.

From super rare tracks to major hits, you'll find artists, bands, songs, and albums, across thousands of music genres from ultra underground new electronic genres to Norwegian black metal, golden era hip hop, deep indie experiments, pop, country, world, folk, classical, and more.
The app makes it easy to discover new music or explore the music you already love by finding similar artists and displaying artist info like biographies, videos, songs, and more.
In addition to making maps of similar artists, you can now also make maps of related songs :) You can create a song map by starting with a search for a song instead of an artist, or you can view an artist's profile and then start a map from one of their songs.
You can share maps, songs, and artists straight to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Email, Messages, and more.
The Discovr interface design was called 'Beautiful and dynamic' by The Wall Street Journal, and Discovr has been featured in Billboard Magazine, Wired, BBC, The Guardian, NME, Fox News, AFR, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Australian, and more.
The main benefit of these changes is that the app is more efficient and secure, supports bigger music maps, is easier to maintain, and works well across all devices.
Note: favorites that you might have saved in previous versions of the app will not appear in this new version (the new code is a major update and favorites could not be transitioned across).
This updated version of the app makes use of new and additional data sources to improve the broad music coverage in the app.
This version updates the design to support the latest OS design patterns and the full range of iPhone & iPad screen sizes.
The app now covers a lot more artists (around 2 million artists and bands) and includes many newer artists that the old version did not support.
Note: related songs are determined based on related songs that users also listen to (rather than songs that just sound exactly the same).
You can play 30 second sample clips or buy your favorite songs and albums directly the iTunes store.
The app includes a full music player as well as a mini player you can access anywhere in the app.
The app has also undergone some big code changes behind the scenes to keep the app up to date with the latest technology changes and security requirements from Apple.

Discovr ist eine echte Innovation der Darstellung der Beziehungen im Musikbusiness. Leider muss ich immer meine Tastatur abmontieren um auf meinem iPad Discovr nutzen zu können - da es sich nur im Hochformat darstellen lässt. Schade.

Der beste Musiknavigator, den ich kenne! Endlich mit iTunes-Verlinkung. Artverwandte Titel in graphischer Darstellung, grandios gemacht, auch zB für Genres wie Funeral Doom... (!)

Perfekt in der Interaktion mit Spotify: gehe aus von einem Künstler der Dir gefällt und schmökere Dich musikalisch in seinen Stammbaum.

Habe Discovr seid es Sie veröffentlich wurde, glaube beim iPhone 3G. Die Funktionen sind immer noch super außer das Apple Music nicht unterstützt wird und Discovr noch nicht, auf für die Xs iPhone optimiert wurden

Richtig, man trifft schnell auf Informationen in Bereichen, Genres in denen man sich noch nicht so dolle auskennt.
Wer sich ein wenig mehr mit Musik beschaeftigt, wird rasch merken, das die Matches nur so gut sind, wie die Datenbanken, die abgefragt werden. Beispiele? Bei Peter Gabriel kein Match zu Laurie Anderson, bei den Beatles werden nicht alle 4 Bandmitglieder verlinkt (und das Foto von Lennon zeigt einen US Präsidenten), von Caetano Veloso kein Link zu seiner sehr populaeren Schwester Maria Bethania, um einmal 3 völlig verschiedene Genres zu erwähnen.
Auch Schade, alle Infos nur in Englisch, obwohl z. B. Last Fm auch Infos in Deutsch vorhaelt.
Trotzdem, gute Idee, schön in der Realisierung und was nicht ist, wird vielleicht noch?

Warum gibt es kein Landscape Ansicht?
Warum kann ich bei gefundenen Interpreten nicht direkt auf Apple Musik zugreifen. Ziemlich umständlich Discovr.

Hatte die Free Version die vor Jahren super funktioniert hat. Die jetzige Version kennt kaum Künstler. Finger weg!!!

war früher besser, jetzt nur mit spotify, kein deezer oder applemusic, crasht bei mir (iphone x ios 12) oder bekommt von irgendeinem server keine antwort. schade war vorher echt ne geile app

Egal was ich suche, immer nur ‚No results found‘! App ist nicht mehr funktionstüchtig und sollte aus dem AppStore entfernt werden.
